Your One Favourite Game of this generation (so far)

mgs4 was pretty bad, the best bits were the fan service for the fans.

going back to shadows moses, the boss fight at the end where you fight liquid/ocelot with the music was excellent.

I didnt like the fact snake and otacon had there own plane and were flying round the planet noncing it up with olgas kid, just didnt make sense. bleh, mgs 1-3 are truly amazing, mgs 4 is bit hit an miss

This generation? That's a long time!

Easily, without doubt, the original Metal Gear Solid. The way it allowed you to decide the game ending, for its time, was just ground breaking.

Best game in 2011 was Deus Ex: Human Revolution for me. Kept me playing for hours.

Ahhh those were the days

I;m sorry what? It gave you two choices and at a very blatant fork in the road. It was not ground breaking by any stretch of the imagination.

Still it is one of my favourite games of all time, mgs, re2, ff7, tomb raider 2 are probably the 4 best ps1 games ever,

I remember getting mgs on release day, was so excited.

MGS1 wasn't this generation :confused:

, by stating "this generation" I'm assuming the op'r is referring to 360/PS3/Wii games. MGS1 had an HD makeover but I still wouldn't consider it to be a current gen game.

Have to agree with others by saying Fallout 3. I just get such a good feeling playing it that I don't get with any other games.

So what would be ur favourite game of this console gen? Mgs4 seems to have taken people differently which isnt a bad thing

i quite like the first uncharted game, the second two are terrible though.

Another vote for MGS4. First game I played on ps3. And I loved it. Had a 360 along time before I touched a ps3. And although I enjoyed a lot of the games on 360. My favourites this Gen have all been ps3 exclusives.

i enjoyed all 3 differently! 2 was a great improvement from one technically, moving forward. 2 to 3 didnt have that big jump so it seemed less of an increase but still great! 2 would be my favourite
