I bet it's more trouble to lock phones to a network than it is to unlock them once home nowadays, eventually even businesses stop throwing good money after bad.
i couldn't figure that one out either. JUMBLE filemanager seems like a good alternative.

MicroSD cards are the ones you want. Many different sizes and speeds, depends how much you need, and how much you want to spend. They're ridiculously cheap recently though!

While well-intentioned, it wasn't really a necessary thread at all tbh.
So, as my 12 month SGS2 contract with mobiles.co.uk is coming to an end towards the end of July and with my missus even encouraging me to get the S3 (so she can get the S2), what do you think is a realistic deal I can negotiate with them? (Talkmobile via mobiles.co.uk) In July last year I bought the S2 for 100 quid up front, 30 per month (12 months), 400 minutes, 1 gig data. Pretty good deal at the time. I doubt by next month we'll see a similar one, but ideally I'd like something close to that. None of the current deals are great value but do you think that after 1 year I would be in a position to negotiate a bargain? (I doubt it but any tips welcome)

An accessories thread is fine, but a month or so after the phone launch, people really only discuss ROMs etc.
Tried v1 of CheckROM and it seems fine but I was wondering why the Kitchen app wasn't rebooting to apply mods.....superuser wasn't there so no root access!
Going back to OMEGA 5.2.
I think I will stay OMEGA from now on. It's exactly what I want and has the built in tweak to prioritise the launcher which stops it refreshing so often as found on other ROMs and stock.

Ahhh sod it...! Cudn't resist any longer so ordered the WHITE S3....
Went into town and had a look at the Blue one - fully expecting to come home with it. However, when I saw it next to the white one, it just didn't do it for me, seemed a bit, meh... compared to the crisp clean looking whitey!!
The edging seemed bland on the blue whereas the edging on the white one seemed to set it off nicely....it's subjective and a personal preference I know, but to me the white one looked the better of the two!
Now then....rooting.....
