Did try an ACOG and red dot sight on it, ill give it a blast with iron sights. Find that whenever i come up against two or three enemy players, i can take out one no probs. But the gun has jumped about so much that it's hard to get on target again. Then i die lol.

3-4 shot bursts . same with about every gun

if it dont hit in that stop restart again as firing more wont do anything. was a thing from dice near start of game about it somewhere.

Yeah, always use burst fire going back to my bfbc2 days. Used to use ACOG on a lot of weapons, now just red dot/holo type scopes as i play a lot of tdm on closed in maps like canals and kharg island. They dont block things out as much at close range, but still useful for longer range shots.

the next big cod not black ops 2 out in 2013 november launch of xbox 720 will be :)

the money they will be putting into that as a big title and also being a launch title for xbox 720 will be immense . the bf game that year better come out 3 months early :p

Its not a question off money but of talent and letting that talent express themselves.

The lsw is quite handy.

Its not a question of whether it plays well or not, its purely down to whether you mind the fact that the flags get capped easily or not.

in BF3, due to the distances between the flags on the larger maps, once you capped a point it would take a team ages to muster the force required to trek halfway across the map and take it back.

Now with BF3 you can take a point, leave to go take another and the enemy could be burning the flag in less than a minute.

You obviously mind this, plenty here don't.

Ehh, look at the maps like dragon and fushe, big maps with caps that are not half the map away from each other, it takes no time going from cap to cap and seeing as there is plenty of transport to go around in BF2 ' not in BF3 ' it's not a problem to go from cap to cap and that is half the fun of battlefield, working your way through the enemies defences with a top squad,. Obviously you prefer zerg gameplay, but then again with only 24 players even the smallest BF3 maps will feel like the biggest maps ever. You make out like BF2 is some kind of war simulator, it's nothing of the sort, it just has proper CQ maps for 64 players and vehicles, something BF3 falls short of.

Isnt that the L86? British army weapon?

But if the head honchos don't listen its a bit wasted. I agree with you that ed/dice made a mistake making bf3 like cod especially when they already had an IP in Bad Compay which was better suited for a cod rival.
Personally i felt that ea's moh 2010 was more similair to the cod games, what with battlefield containing vehicles.

love to see BF2 modders create something via kick starter

what was the name of the WW2 mod for BF2?
Cant remember a ww2 mod for it, but i played a lot of an awesome sniper mod. Scoutys sniper mod, great for ultra long range sniping duels and the inclusion of a few new .50 cal sniper rifles. 2000 yard+ kills were pretty common on it.

Comparing CoD to BF3? Oh Jesus not this again.
2 completely different games with different gamers.. like comparing apples to oranges.

Run and gun easy shooter vs big open strategic shooter/action

Apples and oranges are pretty similar. Not as different as say apples and fly's wings, or an elephants knee for example.

I rest my case.
