Guys, im looking to join the OCUK platoon but it has the 100 member cap, the #2 & #3 platoons the same? dumb question but i dont want to join a platoon what isnt you guys you know.

platoons dont actually matter the ocuk ones arnt official just a group of ocuk players.

best to just add players in this thread

I think it's good. It's not really battlefield like to be honest though, more like a cod game only better in my opinion. I just play it for what it is. One thing I will say though, is that there is not a lot of team play unless you stick to 16 player servers. Usually on ventrilo we are talking all the time when we are attacking or defending areas in normal bf3, but in this at past 16-24 players, it's impossible to explain fast enough what is happening around you for any of it to make sense.

Its mostly just a fun run n gun game :)
 
if you have a good computer and have patience to practice, you can get really good just by watching rivalxfactor's tutorial videos and learning how to shoot/burst/peek

So I had a mess around with that injector thingamabob (with the config posted earlier) and I didn't think it made any difference. Turned it off and realised it definitley made things look more saturated and that did infact look better.

Is there a way to reduce smoke/fog or would that be considered cheating?

That would be cheating yes, but I swear some people have managed to do that :S
 
The fog/smoke seems to be over the top on my machine. On certain levels wh ere dust is supposed to be floating in the air it is more like a thick fog. Very frustrating.

I noticed switching to the lowest graphics settings helps your visibility/spotting a bit.

But I like all the eye candy turned up to max... don't enjoy playing as much on the lower settings.
 
Yeah I'm the same, prefer the eyecandy, but not a smudgey messy screen :p

Well I had my first ban today, accused of using a bot!
BN tagged players on the server T}{E N][TW][TTS really annoys me when people just ban you with no proof. I was actually playing well for once too =/
 
I play with everything on ultra except smoke on low because of this.

Go play metro and go at C flag/train left side. Try and scope someone at the farback trough the fire with it on ultra. then with it on low.

U will never put that stuff back to ultra anymore.
