How much do you intend on playing ? You can always buy the unlocks if you don't think you'll play long enough to unlock them.

Either that or you can just be a passenger. Eg in the second gunner seat of the tank / chopper / LAV and let your driver do the hard work and you can just shoot stuff to help out.

It's only really jets that you have to do all by yourself.

I often have issues with shotguns. There's been times when I've put two shots of buckshot into someone with the SPAS-12 at point blank range and nothing has registered at all. Bizarre.

Nah still happens when im alone and shooting a dude in the back.

The SPAS seems to do that a lot, it's almost as if the shot actually starts about a foot in front of the gun so if you're right up against someone the pellets actually start on the other side of them.

By the way, does anyone else have trouble finding the basic MP443 pistol in their kits? Every time I've gone to look for it I can find the suppresed 443 but not the ordinary one.

I can see myself playing a fair bit, so I'm sure eventually I'll get the unlocks. Not really interested in paying for unlocks mind you. Prefer to work at getting them even time, even if it takes a while.

Just hop in the second seat of LAVs & tanks then and watch their backs for them.

You'll pick up lots of easy points from the assits, and you can get some kills yourself with the gun on people trying to creep up.
 
ya ride as a gunner with a decent tank driver, repair him keep him alive and watch for AT infantry and c4 people! youll soon get unlocks quick! also use proxity unlock when u get it! will help a lot!

the spas is a good shotgun but only when it works, i like to use it but it can be annoying when its only hits 6 times out of 10. hope it gets fixed soon.

That's cool, i thought i was going crazy with the SPAS, it does seem all hit and miss (lol).
I'll stick to the 870MCS until it's resolved.

I've little to no problems with the 870 tbh. Also, that video isn't a very good example, the first shot is well off.

The SPAS on the other hand, i've run up behind someone crouching still and apparently missed. Generally pretty shocking and odd to use.

lol, I always have bad luck and end up get tanks, LAVs stuck on stupid stuff, doesn't help when I'm driving around the maps like a mad man and general crashing into stuff half the time :rolleyes: lol


Also, I was on the 24/7 Conquest (Hardcore) server listed in the OP on late on Saturday night (2-3am), Kharg Island was the map.

I spawned into the gunner seat on the attack heli, pilot took off and then landed at the normal base deployment. I was drinking/kind of drunk so before I realized the hell was going on he was standing outside and looking at me and then shot and TK me :confused:I was like WTF? So then another guy jumps in with him who was hanging round the base (not sure if it was his mate, but I'm thinking he was).

While this was all happening I could still see the heli on the death/spawn screen and it haven't yet taken off. At this point rage was on my side and I was rapidly click on the spawn button so I could get revenge. By the time I spawned in the heli had just taken off so shooting him with my gun was out of the question, whipped out the RPG and took him down :cool:

Yes it was a double TK and some people may call me a **** for doing it, but he ****ed off a drunk person and he wasn't getting away with it. It may of been different if he had posted a team chat asking for me to get out so his buddy could get in, no nope, no warning for me at all, just a shot in the face!

Can't remember the guys name on BF3, but I can dig it up, just wondering if it was anyone on here.

I'm sure he's pretty good, and I'm at work right now so I cant watch any other vids by him, but rolling around Seine Crossing blasting at infantry with thermals hardly strikes me as a great example of his skill.

A better example would be footage of him playing a map like Firestorm or Caspian surely? Somewhere where he wont be at a huge advantage that a tank gives you on Seine, where we can gauge his aim and ability to out manouvre other tanks or something.

Yeah I've also had shots completely not register with the SPAS at point blank range where it's impossible to miss. Racked it off after a few deaths due to it.
 
Just won my first gunmaster on a 32man server. When the round ended I was literally shaking and had to stop playing. As much as I don't like playing it loads, it certainly gets your heart pumping when you're going for the win!

He's also running on his own for lots of the map, with no proximity sensor.

Any skilled player on a half decent team would have him C4'd easily. Its just that the other team in that video was garbage and got spawn trapped.

He is definitely a good shot though.

See, blasting infantry at point blank range on such a close map as Seine, when you can rely on splash damage as well, is hardly a good example of good shooting. Hence I'd like to see some more videos on bigger maps vs. other tanks. Ill look when I get in from work.
