i dunno what to do then, i aint got millions to spend on the gear clearly required to do act 2 and im tired of farming act one to try and find the 1/2 ilvl 63 items that might just be an uber upgrade for me.

For what it's worth, I can do act 2 with worse stats than you have in pretty much every regard (albeit with a dual-wield build that aims to take advantage of the extra dodge available) so I don't think you should give up hope yet. Those with 1h+shield seem to use life on hit as a crutch to get through the content when armour+resists isn't enough but I think that's only properly viable with higher attack speeds. So you just need to find out what will really work in the context of 2-handers...easier said than done I know. Perhaps gearing and skilling for high spirit regen + high life per spirit spent is the way forward?

Anyone awake at the moment that could make a game on Hell difficulty Act 4 - Prime Evil so I can take Diablo down. :D

Would be much appreciated.

Price check :) Not sure if worth much.

Small dex\crit dmg + socket and sub 60 level, I would sell for 40k. :)

Speaking of rings, thought I'd faff in paint and try post a pic of an early find...As it is, quite good.

Any idea on RMAH prices, I assume it's worthy to some extent? :)

I'd try around £35 to £45 for that and it would probably sell. Got one very similar off the AH yesterday for 6.5 mil just without the vit which i thought was a bargain.

I am not greedy enough, finally a decent drop last night after about 90rares, doing Inferno from before skeleton king > Butcher.

A 2 handed x-bow dropped:

950dps, 2.2% life steal, 112 vit, 50% crit damage, + 1 empty socket.

Wasn't able to sell it last night but this morning a few auctions finished so I put it up for 2 million buyout before going for a shower. 15 mins later it had sold...

Probably worth 4 or 5 million yea?

I did 3 act 1 runs yesterday. Not complete, just hunting elites.More than 150 rares and 2 (!) legendaries.Out of all these rares 2 were decent that sold for 400k each.Still not worth it imo after 3 runs. And the legendaries are probably the worst in game items, they are selling for like 10k each.

Deciding to play through Act 1 was quite fun last night, we open the game to public to get a good mix of people :) plus it makes it more challenging.

Also instead of doing my usual Warden > forsaken cemetery > butcher run.

We were exploring caves and dungeons and doing the random events :) Much more fun.

A Barbarian from Denmark was very annoyed that I was able to tank with my Monk while he struggled on 8k dps and 80k hp lol :D

I got the Inferno pony land staff last night, em and my DH friend got WTFKAPWNED (sorry, I know...), it was ridiculous. Getting hit for 50k when you have 26k HP isn't great! lol

What kind of stats do I need as a DH in there to survive?

Don't think Demon Hunters can do much really, just max your dex, get highest dps weapon possible with critical damage increase. 1 shot the enemy back :D

Not sure how successful people have been by stacking armour and resist all with a DH.

A friend has 48k hp, 45k dps(with SS) and 500resist all
I've got 26k HP, 68k dps (with SS) and 50 resist all :(

We both die equally as fast lol, he does get on better then me during ACTI farming though in terms of the amount of hits he can take.

And yes, both our gear is **** :p

Your friend is definitely going in the right direction. Comparing to my monk from last week, I had 25k hp 600 resist all and could sit in plague etc and bash away without much problems (Act I)

The problem is Pony land is supposed to be similar to Act IV in difficulty. So as a monk I would probably want 900-1k resist all + 8-10k armour and 22-25k dps minimum to start farming that consistently.

Was getting really fed up on Act1 Inferno last night. Every single mob was Jailer Arcane Enchanted, didn't stand a chance.

Wouldn't be a surprise. The game seems to forget what 'random' means when it comes to mob abilities. You can almost guarantee you will see the same 2 or 3 abilities on almost every mob you come across. When doing Azmodan runs on DH, if I ever came across Reflect Damage it would almost never be in isolation. You could practically guarantee at least 3/4 of the elites you come across would also have it.

Can anyone advise if this would be a good upgrade?
Or more importantly can someone guide me between the DPS vs strength and how to balance it all up?

Used to be so good with the sums on WoW, im really struggling on this lol

The first one will give you much more damage overall with the DPS increase and crit damage, even with a bit of Strength loss. Weapon damage is part of your base damage, the Str just gives a % increase to the base. What's better is all down to your current stats, but in this case the first is bound to be better.

I would not bother with such low DPS 1 handers, especially without a socket or high LOH.

In other news, I am starting to get into a position where I can solo Act 3 farm on my 2H barb pretty well now, I could do with a little more resists maybe and more dps, but I am able to do it which is great :)
