What film did you watch last night?

I watched Machete a while back on blu-ray.

It was pretty enjoyable in places, but didn't grab my attention a lot of the time. The end was a bit naff too.

However, Lindsay Lohan in a swimming pool doing bad things was not so bad ;)

I'd give it 6/10!

I loved Machete so I watched Badass. It was dire, had to turn it off half way through. The acting and story and everything about it is just poor. Sad to say cos I love Danny Trejo.
 
Was in the mood for something different a bit tired of the usual so started off with Erazerhead followed by Pi and then The Man From Earth.
Had heard lots of good things about Erazerhead but i thought it was a bit limp 4/10.
Pi well that was a mental mind melt at 2am 8/10 and thoroughly enjoyed The Man From Earth 9/10

Give the latter 2 a try if your ever in the mood for something different :)

Oh dear.

Cuba gooding Jr (obviously, he's in all these sort of "Black power" films) a couple of rappers with no talent, a slightly annoyed Luftwaffe ACE with a bad accent.

Some acceptable special effects from ILM.

Yep I watched City of God and I quite liked it although the format of the film and some of the cinematography/effects were not really my thing. I would still give a solid 7 out of 10.
 
Prometheus, went in with an open mind and no expectations and really enjoyed it. Nothing really wrong with it I would have just liked to have seen more, could have easily been a 3hr plus film. 8/10.
 
The new Girl with a Dragon Tattoo. 3/10. Well below average. Hollow so badly acted they had to verbally say everything.

In the swedish version you pick up on the body language, the disgust etc in the new one they may as well had Japanese mood masks with subtitles of the plot saying "She is now angry".. etc.
 
God yes, I saw the Quadrilogy not long ago in anticipation of watching Prometheus this weekend and I'm amped up!


Yesterday I watched Piranha 3DD and....well.... I feel like I've lost some IQ now :(

Erazerhead is literally the worst film I've ever seen. It's one of the only films I've had to turn off before it's finished.
