:(Looks like it was bad luck on the cards,been refunded for the 670's (one was found to be faulty) also didn't fancy the short Pcb.

PC got checked out by someone else and got a clean bill of health, so things are good on that side.:D

I've decided to go with the 680 Tops as they run quite cool on air and are decent out of the box till I get some more money sorted out for going underwater.

Did you sort yours out and did you take the plunge on the monitor?
 
Good you finally got settled mate, hopefully that's last bit of problems you gonna have :)

I ordered crossover which should be with me monday. Regarding gpu still got nothing, waiting for zotac 670 4gb which is meant to be good full length card. Time will tell lol
 
AHEM, Getting back to the topic:

I have contacted Overclockers.co.uk about this shortage, unfortunately my webnote on Friday 15th June 2012 received:

"Thank you for your web note. This is something we are going to have to chase up with EVGA, our supplier manager for EVGA cards is not available today as on holiday however he should be back in on Monday. If you can contact us then we can find out this information for you."

Trying again on Monday, twice, I first got:

"We should receive more stock of this within the next week or so."

Which I questioned further and got:

"You will need to contact us next Monday as our purchasing manager isn't in and he will be the only person that will be able to answer this."

So, will try again next Monday.

By the way, this thread is an embarrassment of off topic rubbish! Please post a new thread in an appropriate section / forum if you want to deviate so far from the subject "Supposedly official - No 4GB EVGA GTX 670 vanilla for Europe", thanks!
 
You've not been on OcUK forums long if you're moaning about going off topic. Nearly every thread does.

Looks like we may be about to get an answer on the vanilla EVGA 670 4Gb's, purchasing manager supposed to be back today and, perhaps more importantly:

The card has suddenly been withdrawn on OcUK website! Seems the rumours were true.
 
No answer being given at the moment, I've been asked to "watch the forums".

Anyway, had enough of waiting and ordered the SC version that was discounted on OcUK to the same price as the vanilla!

For anyone still waiting, there may be other offers on SC's soon, looks like OcUK's has just ended.

I'd advise cancelling your pre-order and order an SC before stocks run out!

Well I have finally bitten a bullet and ordered 680 FTW 4GB directly from EVGA as its cheap. If its a good card will order another one for SLI.
