I have tried to find the answer but still not clear and no i won't be trying this, just curious.

From what i can see, you've got bacteria, viruses, spores and fungi, toxins and dangerous proteins(CJD) that you would be up against.

I think all above apart from toxins have a thermal death time, approx 121degC(autoclaves and all that stuff) i don't think toxins do(as i guess they don't have DNA or RNA), or do they what are toxins anyway.

Again as far as i know all DNA and RNA will "die" at above 121degC.

Anyway my original point if already debunked as boiling only goes up to 100degC.

So could you do this, say you were stuck out on a mountain of wherever you needed too.

I would imagine our ancestors would eat red meat that was spoiled. We probably aren't quite so hardy to it these days. Given modern medicine though, you would probably just end up with a nasty case of food poisoning and frequent trips to the toilet.

if the (cooked) meat contained enough bacteria to make you very ill if eaten hole would it make a difference if you decided to eat it when you were starving hungery and took tiny bits at a time and chewed the buggery out of it...???

my thinking being that more / all of the bacteria would be exposed to stomach acid......

Why would you want to do this with rotten meat is the question that needs to be asked.

Dead bodies piling up in your basement?

Yes, the more you chew, the more you crush up and kill the bacteria, so you won't get ill. This is how cats and dogs can eat from bins - their teeth are sharper and can cut up smaller bacteria than ours.

no i mean if you chew a small bit to buggery it will have more surface area to expose to the stomach acid - so less safe places for bacteria

Just because the boiling water is 100c doesn't mean the pan will only go upto that temperature, sure it will self regulate to an extent but saying that's the max temperature of water is ridiculous.
