***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

So then, real world usage with Wanam 1.4 and I have to say...impressive =]

Over an hour of videos/music, browsing throughout the day, connected to mixed networks, where WIFi it is always Wireless-N (150Mbps) and where mobile network it's always HSPAP.15 (H+), emails/whatsapp group convos, wordfeud, wwf, draw something, youtube, auto brightness etc etc.

ROM is a keeper.

That's Razr Maxx levels!

I see you had the screen on for a whole chunk of time before dying. Video playback?

@ mrk - Pffft! Nothing the S2 can't match :p:

All web browsing done on HSPA 4hrs+, Bluetooth on most of the time, 35% brightness most of the time - 5% on white web pages.

What are the advantages (other than battery life) of Wanam over Omega?

Look at the bigger gaps in your awake time though :-P Still impressive though! Unless yours includes over night idle time?

I didn't just leave the screen on no Skel, screen was only really on when I was using it through out the day!

Wanam says he's tweaked the memory handler to be less aggressive and that improves battery life supposedly. All I know is that it's giving better screen on time over a full working day compared to OMEGA!

Stock LF6 kernel. Backup using Titanium Backup and MyBackup Pro (for APN/SMS/MMS etc).

Okay I give up. How can I change how long the phone rings before going over to voicemail please? At the moment its too short and I sometimes can't get it out of my pocket quick enough.

Really want to get this phone but bit confused by Orange.

I can upgrade to it no problem. However, my iPhone 4 contract apparently is giving me "Unlimited Data" for 3G mobile internet stuff.

The equivalent S3 contract offers 1GB. Is "Unlimited" really 1GB?

I would be surprised if the battery saving benefits were so much more significant than Omega, considering Omega is already very good... I get through a full day of use and generally have at least 50% left! Omega is just such a fantastic and polished all-round ROM with such nice integrated tweaks and features that I can't imagine changing for anything else in the forseeable future.

Can't wait for jelly Bean too, looks like it's really going to be a nice upgrade over ice Cream! :)
