Problem is with only 3 search filters, no-one wants to sacrifice trying to pin point the stats they need by including "reduce level requirement"

Yup that's a problem that the numbers of filters stop at 3 .... perhaps they could add at least a lower price range so there will be 150k-200k only in addition to 4th and even 5th pre-fix ;] so search with

Experimenting with a different approach for my DH, stacked some Resist All, swapped out Hungering Arrow for Evasive Fire and Sharpshooter for Tactical Advantage (since my crit chance is over 30% anyway). Works quite well in Inferno where putting distance between you and the mobs is the only real survival technique for a DH!

Spent £100 yesterday and can slowly do act 3 now lol.

Have 37k HP, 9.5k armour, 17k damage with a shield and 950-1100 all res now.

Hit 60 on my DH last night, had to gear her up with 16 million... which sounds like a lot but 16 million doesn't really go that far when trying to get a complete set of gear, including weapons and gems, for a fresh 60. Ended up with 50k HP, 52k DPS (without SS), 220 all resist. Quite happy with how it turned out, was hoping to get more resist all but dex/vit/resist all gear is very expensive.

£100?

I might pay small amounts (ie, a few quid) if I had access and really felt like it (and the item was a steal) since its no more than I've paid into World of Tanks over time but £100 is a lot.

So got to level 40 now with my DH and currently near the end of act II nightmare. Just wondering though am I making things too difficult for myself / don't have the right gear? What I mean is if I encounter a yellow enemy (rare?) it often takes me a minute or two to kill him kiting backwards constantly. Is that about right or should I have the level of gear which means I can take out even a yellow in 10 secs or so? Just trying to get an idea of how "difficult" the game should be at any point.

Ignore the haters.

Where as other may go out and spend £60 - 80 on a night out(including myself), you choose to spend it on your (presumably) primary hobby.

It's like people investing hundreds into airsoft, the only difference being you've got nothing physical to show for it.

I find it funny when people go on about "paying for pixels" but isent that what games are? Pixels? Also we are currently on a hardware forum where people spend hundreds if not thousands in order to add AA and other little graphical features which are just pixels at the end of the day. Agreeably those bits of hardware maintain some value but i can't say ive ever had a great return on a graphics card in terms of a resale value a few years later.....

I will add i don't buy things on the RMAH but i don't see an issue with people doing it. If i had loads of extra cash spare and spending £100 would give me some good return in terms of entertainment value then i would do it, shame i don't have loads of cash spare lol!

I think the difference is I couldn't wander the streets and eventually find an airsoft rifle, and even trying to do so would be tedious and boring. In a D3 you can have fun (flame here) and possibly (...) find good gear. Buying items would be like skipping the fun stuff and needlessly nerfing the game.

In saying that I bought gold in Travian a long time ago so I'm not one to criticise :p

I wish Legendaries would scale up in the damage and stats as you level to a certain degree.

I hate finding a very good looking one and then having to drop it shortly after because it's outdated so quickly.

Also if people want to buy stuff with cash let them, it's there money. Personally I won't any time soon, but I'll gladly sell. :)

Can i just check with you guys, the RMAH is a one way system, there is noway to transfer money from your Battlenet Account back to Paylpal or to an account?

They really are making a lot of money from this, if all the money people are transferring into the RMAH has to stay in it. Makes there £1 per sale fee seem reasonable
