Hi guys and girls,

Need some help/advice please.

In May i had to send my gtx 580 back to overclockers as it developed a fault. I got an email from overclockers saying it's being sent back to EVGA for repair or replacement,
A month had past and i got a replacement From overclockers but where they did not have any new gtx580 in stock so i got a "B" grade one on the 18th of june.

Today i started up my pc to have a game and the fault i got with my last card is back now with this card :(. So tomorrow i will be ringing up overclockers and
telling them about the problem but what i want to know is, Where tomorrow i have had the card for 14 days does it still fall under the "14 days guarantee" or the
"90 days guarantee with B grade products" or does it have to be RMA?

I have tried the card in another PC and still get the same problem!.

Any help or advice would be gr8,

Thanks
Sgt T

If this is in the wrong section i'm sorry

You should have the complete warranty from the date of purchase from the first card.

TBH, with EVGA, ignore OcUK RMA - EVGA will be MUCH faster :)

I would ask in the customer service section of the forum.

Ask overclockers? :p
I was going to but i thought i would ask here first ;)

Yes i do but i cant believe it being a "new" card its died within 13days of having!

I would ask in the customer service section of the forum.

No one can answer until 2morrow as theey are not in the office.

pretty sure 5UB deals with it and he lurks around here a lot.

Unfortunately 5UB doesn't deal with RMAs :(

Also, IIRC he's away for a week? Not certain about that though.

Tbh, if I were you op I'd return it and ask nicely for them to give you another brand new EVGA card :)

I'd wonder if one game was having a problem it wasn't a driver or patch issue - but your best bet would be the tech support forum or phoning.

Warranty is your original contract. That they gave you a bgrade replacement just means something that came back from a supplier was assigned to you rather than waiting for your specific return.
