I don't know if to get this, even though I do have the San Fran 2. The San Fran 2 slows down so much sometimes though.
more of a sidestep for you tbh.
Have you removed the Orange junk form the SF2 ?

Picked one up at Tesco's today, after they cancelled my order for no apparent reason.
Seems pretty nifty to me, though I've come from the original iPhone 3G. Pretty snappy, nice screen, and has a micro-SD slot and 2.5gb~ internal memory, so should always have plenty of storage.
The headphone socket doesn't seem particularly loud, though I'm hoping that if it's rooted it'll be sorted - I just need to work out to do that.
For £100 it seems a bit of a bargain.

The sound bug was fixed in a ota update. Try updating as your most likely On the original released rom.

Ics *did* have a locked bootloader. 
Tool has been released that roots and unlocks the bootloader so you can get cwm on now
...Just updated mine,now running Official ics,rooted with cwm installed. Phone`s even more of a bargin now!

At work at the moment, but how savvy are you with fastboot / clockwork mod as you'll need that to flash a gapps zip to get Google play and be able to back up your rom.

Yep,hard to explain but it just feels "right". Smoother and snappier i guess you could say.

True true... Like I don't really need it. I have an iPhone 4S and currently a SF2, but the SF2 is a slow piece of **** and feels very unresponsive.
This is good to hear... Think I'll probabaly end up getting it tbh.

I just upgraded to the Chinese huawei ICS, and wow what a difference! I didn't think the difference would be that big, but it is. The phone was pretty good anyway on Gingerbread, but ICS just feels very snappy, no lag at all. Now its time to root the phone and get rid of the Chinese apps.
Could any of you guys who have this phone get some pictures up please of it's general looks? Thinking about purchasing but all I can find are stock photos and i'm also considering this when it's released:
