I had to walk to work yesterday just as we had what seemed like a months rain in 15 minutes :| (by the time I left work the water level going under the bridge near work had risen approx 12 feet).

Find rain really relaxing when I'm not getting soaked tho.

It can be.
But not a lot of the time.

If your sat inside and there's a big thunder storm then it's nice.

If its cold drizzle and your outside, nothing nice about that. Normall rain which last hours, nothing nice about that.
Warm summer rain when you accept you'll get wet is pretty good, but only once you've accepted the fact you'll get soaked.

I also find it very relaxing, google white noise megamix and thats the thing thst helps me to sleep after a 7am finish
