Slimming Jab, am i the only person who hopes this DOESNT work?

Hardly

You just need to shop around more.

Frozen pizza - £1. Time to prepare - 10 seconds to remove packaging. Time to cook - 12 minutes. A complete tasty meal (that's horribly unhealthy).

Healthy food has to compete with that. It can't.

That might work for you but even good carbs can be bad for people with a slow metabolic rate.

Time for you to stop posting :D

I am sure that you are the only person who dismissed his post without even trying to read it. You are coming across as a complete **** tbh, well done :)

I hope you're wrong. One of the reasons these forums are so good is because text speak and poorly formatted posts are shunned. I can't be the only one effecting that.

It does have to compete. But it's up to the end user at the end of the day.

Cooking and eating has become boring. People just can't be bothered to cook now. I on the other hand sit there for two hours on a sunday evening cooking my lunches for the rest of the week.

I now do the same, but it's an extra effort I have to make. Healthy food wins out if you look at the long term... in the short term unhealthy food ticks all the boxes.

I can understand why people don't eat healthily - we're not perfect.

I'd say that posts like yours above are probably one of the reasons that this place is seemingly quieter these days. If that makes it a better place in your mind then congratulations.

I could make up a crappy meal with cheap chips & economy burgers for less than a quid a day

Sainsbury's Basics Economy Burgers - 79p (8 burgers, 10p each)
Sainsbury's Basics Chips (1.5Kg) - 82p

I'd be surprised if you could find some clean eating for the same cost or lower.

Can i ask, without all the BS Buzz words and jargon, what exactly constitutes a good "clean" meal compared to the pizza. Im quite sure i know but im interested in what the more informed say on the matter.

Im sure you all discuss this at length in other parts of the forum.

Great, 1 meal costs the same. Now work out the cost/calorie. How much is it going to cost you to get 1000 calories from chicken and potatoes? More than £1 that's for sure.

Meh. It's all a moot point really.

I tailor my earnings so I spend a certain amount on food. Otherwise go out and buy meals all the time or but lots of 'ready' meals.

All personal preference at the end of the day

I don't agree at all. I don't criticise a spelling mistake, I don't howl with outrage when someone says "should have" - many people on here do. But I do take exception to posts where no care at all has been taken, I'm offended if someone thinks their time is so much more precious than everybody else's combined who will read their posts that they can cut corners and force other people to do the work.

I think that's reasonable - or do you want OcUK to be YouTube?

I'm depressed that humanity resorts to warfare rather than peacefully work out their differences.

And depressed people too they need to get a grip rather than take a happy pill.

Firstly, how does one reach peace with those who do not want it?
Second, I hope those who are depressed without medication don't fit that "get a grip" opinion.

.... Of course it's a personally preference. People were simply pointing out that it's cheaper to eat ****.

Probably could actually.

I have my food that I eat and that's that really. But feel free to continue chewing on cardboard ;)
