well 4 months of doing very little has killed me, today was my first day back in the gym at least the knee's felt fine squating.

body weight 324lbs.

20 mins crosstrainer machine.
bench press 4x8x60kg's
squat 3x8x60kg's
bent over row machine. 3x15x35kg's

only a light session to get back in to it will see how i go thursday now with something a bit more complete and heavier :D

You aren't little at >140kg! Are you a man beast?
 
I got myself some new adidas running shoes the other day as my old pair had a seem half way down the inside of the shoe, that would rub on the side of my foot and cause blisters 10 minutes into a run. They were also making my legs ache on the outsides for some reason. New shoes have helped greatly, no more blisters and no more aches. My great north run training should be easy now :p

i am little im only 6'3 and 146kgs :D

dont forget iv had a year of being fairly lazy thanks to foot and then knee issues.

aiming to get my bench up to around 150 for the end of the year and squat somewhere similar and deadlifts around 200kg's.

bodyweight id like to be back below 20st for christmas and im aiming for a lean bodyweight of around 245lbs eventually.

if i do get below 20st that will be the first time in about 15 years :eek:

I'm a midget compared to you then at 5'8.5" and 73KG.
Before my injury I was around 68kg-70kg. ::(:mad:
 
How lean you talking as that would look great. I want to get back over 130kg but lean(ish).

Oddly I was watching UK strongest man 09 and it had jimmy marku on, he said he had something like 52" chest and 19" arms. It then made me think 'I'm as big as him!!'. First time I've actually thought 'I'm actually not small then' lol
 
I saw strongman last night too. Couldn't work out what year it was though, and thought "How did Marku get out of that cannabis charge then?" :D

He's out now and back in training I think!
Last nite was qualifier for WSM up in norway a few years ago. Crazy to think they were struggling with 180 log and the record now is just under 220kg
 
well seeing as i wont be playing contact sports no more id like to get as lean as possible, below 10% bf if possible. but to actualy have visable abs would be a nice start.

sort your diet out id be amazed if your even 220lbs lean 245lbs lean without being of unbelievable mass (for this forum) you'd be about 6'6 not 6'3". You should have no problem at all getting down to a healthier 110-120kg without strict dieting.
 
yeah got a rough mon-fri diet knocked together for now.

daily protein 181.9 grams
daily fats 72.9 grams (20 grams sat fats)
daily carbs 272.8 grams
daily calories 2450.

compared to what i used to eat when i wasnt really botherd about being leaner its a lot better. will stick with this for a month or so and then build on it depending how im going.
 
245lb lean mass is like Overeem big.

better start buying the horse meat :p

and i said eventaully, 245 was just a weight to aim for who knows where il end up in a few years.
 
That's Alistair Overeem. Not only is he awesomely built, he'd also kick your ass in a royal fashion. The dude is a weapon of mass destruction.
