Just had an odd one - I rebooted my phone that's been up for about 7 days and upon reboot it was not responding. Then I get a message flash up "Unfortunately, the NFC service has stopped".
It appeared to be stuck in a loop as the message would appear every 10 secs but any movements and screen presses would be actioned in the split second after you hit OK, then it would freeze again.
Managed to uninstall all the updates to the NFC service and rebooted - back to normal.
NFC was not enabled and I've not knowingly updated anything to do with NFC.
My phone is stock LF2 ROM which I've rooted, and upgraded to radio to NELE4.
