Slightly contradicting isn't it? :p Chelsea winning it without being the "best" team shows you do not need to be the best, a decent side with a bit of luck will do.

With their financial backing they are only going to keep on improving (see Man City), so them winning it at least once is quite likely to happen.
 
PSG will never win the CL if Financial Fair Play is enforced - they won't be allowed in :p

Otherwise I don't see why not, especially if they aren't playing in the toughest domestic league. RM and Barca (probably the 2 best club teams on the planet) played a clasico the weekend before their CL Semi Final 2nd leg ties and look where that got them.

I ment, they won't be a CL winning team by just buying a few world class players. What Chelsea did will never happen again. They got lucky against Barca and BM. What Chelsea did was a freak.

PSG are nobodies in European football. The Europa is probably out their reach.

Not looking for attention, don't care for it. Just made a comment which got a response.

I guess if Porto won it back in 2004, theres always that chance and out sider can win it I guess. The last French team to win it though was back in 93. Its always been the usual suspects since then.
 
Tbh luck seems to play a big part in Champions League. United got lucky against Bayern Munich in 99, scoring 2 goals in the 90th minute, that epic Liverpool comeback against AC Milan was a freak game, what Chelsea did IMO pales in comparison to that. I don't think Chelsea actually got lucky against Bayern, they were both really poor, can't say it's luck just because Gomez and Robben bottled it. :p
 
has anyone read Stefan Szymanski's book "Why England lose"? He has a theory that in the next few years/decades it's going to be the turn of the major metropolitan centres to win the Champions League.

Clubs from London/Paris/Istanbul/Moscow. This was published in 2009 (so before Chelsea won this year)

Don't count PSG out...
 
In the years to come I think PSG are going to be a European force. I very much doubt they'll win it this year as the new acquisitions will need some time, but they have one of the best cities in Europe, as well as piles of money.
 
makes me laugh sometimes on the market you look at players and they have like buy it nows for 30k then the same player with same position and formation is also their with a start price of say 35k and current bid of 34900 lol its just so obvious the seller has 2 accounts and is trying it on

Been playing ultimate team and it keeps freezing in the loading screen once I start a game. Is anyone else getting this? Its so annoying to get to the final and then it freezes on me and I have to start from the beginning of tournament again.
Is there any solutions? I don't have custom tactics but It still happens

On xbox btw my friend says he has same problem on ps3

It happens the game after someone quits. To stop it, log out of ultimate team and then back in. Pretty ridiciculous / frustrating issue though.
 
There was a thread about this recently on the official forum, a representative of EA claimed they had tried to replicate it "all day" and only had one freeze so they aren't going to be investigating the issue. Funny that, because for me it happens every time somebody quits.
