I'd love to get shot of Walcott and get Dempsey in to replace him for the time being, he's got a good few years to go and we can look for some young cheap about to be fantastic winger to replace him, with a few years to try a few till we get a goodun.

100k a week on Walcott and I think my head will explode.

The club have confirmed that Maxi has left the club and signed for some Argentinian club.

Would have liked him to stay but it's a big saving on wages.

Good news now that Simpson is off to chase the money.

Indeed. Can see us signing 2 more. CF and a CB. Cant seem them being big names but very hot talent.

As far as am aware we want to keep BA and he wants to stay as long as he played in a more central role this year.

Pardew and Car are both looking for a new youngish forward who can score goals with his head to keep things fresh but will have to be happy playing as a squad player.

Our midfield is looking well mint atm
Jonas/Cabaye/Tiote/Hatem/Amalfitano/Marveaux/Obertan/Gosling and am hoping to see a lot more of Abeid and Vuckic this season. Vuckic has always looked good and it's so hard to believe he only 19

He would also have a much harder time getting into the RM midfield (not saying he wouldnt be able to, but they have a pretty formidable line up in midfield already)

May well come down to which club offers more upfront (as the player , I dont believe, has yet to show a preference)

If he has watched us play over the last season, he will defintiely pick RM ahead of UTD...

a team with a lot of deadwood who specialise in counter attacking and long ball play who arent champions and got dumped out of 2 european competitons very early are unlikely to ineterest a player who could go anywhere he wanted to - i must stress this.

Well i didnt want Maxi to leave id rather he went and Bellamy stays however with them leaving it should allow us to sign better younger players and on less wages so hope it all works out well

in post 4144 i have quoted from the ss report. it says ''bolstered by add ons''. this could be (i dunno?) score 20 goals a season, get £1m? £10k per goal scored, £5k per assist? i have no idea, but the fact it was mentioned and his wage drop, would leave me to believe it is higher than your average bonus. well, for spurs anyway.

One wooly mention of bonuses from the not so reliable Sky Sports hardly shows that he'll be getting more than usual. If Spurs are already breaking their famous wage cap to sign him, I can't imagine they're going to be giving him anything unusually large on top of that in the form of bonuses.

when we got him for £6m? i'd say we will be. i don't particularly care in all honesty, not sure why you're so interested either?

I only mentioned that all players get bonuses, you were the one that seemingly wanted to have a detailed discussion about it.

And I think you just blindly guess at most things.

edit: And he's only £6m because City want to get rid of him and nobody (except Spurs) are willing to offer him a contract big enough for him to leave.

.

yeh. i said borini would be announced by liverpool today a long time before you did. i also said fulham had bid £15m for carroll and that liverpool had contacted spurs to gauge their interest in him.

i suppose i was guessing at all of that.

You have no understanding of any of these deals, you just repeat what journalists report as fact. The other day you said it was likely that Liverpool would be willing to loan Carroll to Spurs because some random journalist said we'd been in contact over a loan deal. The next day the very same journalist wrote something about how Liverpool actually weren't looking to loan Carroll but an out right sale.

And because you've read the word bonsuses in relation to Adebayor you're now claiming that Adebayor's going to be earning massive bonuses on top of a £100k per week wage.

It's a bit like you reading an article where it claimed that Spurs were hoping to get £400m over 20 years (but no mention of any deal being in place or even close) from a stadium naming rights deal and then writing on here that Spurs are just about to announce a £500m deal over 10 years.

you'd been in contact with west ham over a loan deal, you contacted spurs to gauge interest on us making an offer.

i still don't understand why you're picking up on adebayor's bonuses, what does it matter to you? if anything, i hope you're right, the less we spend on wages, the better.

and lol at you saying nobody would want adebayor. tell me, who scored and assisted more last season, adebayor or carroll? we've just signed adebayor for £29m less than you paid for carroll.
