Crazy Woman wants to erect giant cross in her back garden.

I can't see why she is crazy to be honest

Why because as humans we currently and historically have accepted the belief in a Jewish zombie who saved us all by being his own father and getting himself crucified before coming alive again and disappearing a few days later was a perfectly rational thought?

I look forward the year 3000 that kind of behavior is classed as insanity like it is with every other person who hears voices in their head.

Perhaps in future it would be prudent to actually read/watch the story before commenting then.

Perhaps it would be prudent to actually post it, given it's such an important "feature" to consider. I did read the article, I missed out that one thing. Woe betide me.

Just hope the committee arent protestants or she's no chances!

Stupid woman, she has her beliefs, no need to ram it down the throats of her surrounding neighbours.

Well it was in the link, so it's not our problem you didn't bother before spouting off.

Lol, so all the sculpture artists have been sectioned have they? Have you seen some off their "art"

As said, it won't be accepted anyway.

Artists aren't making them to protect themselves and others from evil spirits, nor are they putting them up where they're visible from miles around.

Burn it with fire.

Good point, how do we know 'Sister' Mary isn't actually Grand Dragon Mary of the Lincolnshire KKK and when she talks about it 'lighting up' at night time she meant with petrol and a match?

I would expect anything that is 7 meters high and illuminated will bring some concerns and complaints from their neighbours....that it is a Cross is immaterial to that and the planning people have yet to allow it, and I doubt they will anyway simply becasue it is 7m tall and illuminated in a residential area.

But hey, it's an excuse to have another religion bashing thread so why not!!!
