Morning all,

Finally have my barb to 60 Act 1 Inferno, at Old Tristram. (farming Sarkoth)

Now need some farming to do it get further up.

I'm using dual weapons

Life on Hit
Strength
& was currently using reduced level req.

Will be using resist to all elements for 3rd.

Is it a good idea to start using shield at this point?

I bought a shield the other day, gave up with it and reinvested it into a other weapon. Much more worth it :)

I always feel that for the price of a decent off hand you can get a decent second 1h...

1k with only 66% crit I sold for 18m the other day... Might take a while for you to raise that much :)

I'm preferring better stats on like 800 dps ATM... Want to raise it to 1k with good stats still... Just the items don't exist :(

Thought I'd progress through Act 3 Inferno with my DH. Was surprised at how smooth it went, killing was a bit slow and probably will be the reason I head back to Act 2 for farming purposes. Had a feeling I'd get utterly demolished on the new Ghom, but killed him first go and still had quarter of the room free for fart clouds.

Not 1 death at all so far, lowest I've been is about 50% HP and that's just because I decided to face tank the last Soul Ripper from a champion pack as I couldn't be bothered to run it around :p Granted, I've not had an "impossible" pack yet.
 
Grr :( Been doing a lot of vault of assassin runs and just getting so many mediocre drops, its getting very annoying.

You know the items that Might sell if you spend 10 mins looking up prices but probably not worth the AH slot.

It sent me into to a salvage rage..At least i cleaned out my storage in the process.

I know the feeling, doing VotA runs myself and get utter trash most of the time... but then there's that one time!

The worst ones that just send me into a rage though are when you find about 4 63 weapons and they are all stuff like 204 unID'd Darkblade, and you ID it and it's 210 dps :/
 
Anyone got a half-decent reduced level requirement weapon i can borrow to speed up these last 8 levels on my Barb?

Either that, or can someone give me a few Core of Arreat runs? :P

If you got past ghom thats the hardest part of act 3 out of the way in my opinion, although you have the "fun" on phasebeast elites to come :)

Be interested in seeing your gear and build, if you could add me brokkah#2761 id appreciate it. Always good to have more dh contacts :)
 
Finally got enough gear together today to start Inferno Act II on my barb.. making steady progress and only really finding a few combos (arcane/nightmare/molten mostly) causing me deaths.
Anyway... have had **** luck with drops recently and got my first legenday drop in about 4 weeks and what should it be? a 170 dps hand crossbow called Izzuccob... I hate this game sometimes... :S
 
My gear still isn't anywhere near good enough for act2 inferno :( I have saved up 2m in gold but just can't seem to find anything that's a significant upgrade! Everything is so damn pricey lately.
 
Anyone recommend any good builds for act 1 inferno ? (Barb?)

I tend to just dive right in and try and kill as many mobs as possible.
