I've been playing on and off for about 7 years now, I usually play for around 3-6 months then take a year long break before repeating the process

Back in my day, the dragon square shield was the big thing to own....

Well I played it for a lot longer than that, I was a big quester mainly (and castle wars when that came out) and had done every quest in the game when I stopped playing. Whips were pretty new back then

One of my first memories is getting given an adamant dagger when i was about level 10 and it was worth 3k. Thought i was loaded

How depressing that when i quit 500m didn't even seem much...

I was going to try it many many years ago. I went onto the website and was instantly turned off playing it. It looked terrible.

Just realised both my accounts are in H4S. Buggery! Someone else will have to start the clan up. And might be an idea to have a spare account to make an OcUK friends chat channel to compliment the clan chat channel. That way people in clans already will be able to chat to Clan OcUK

If you have a clan citadel, it's incredibly useful for training. Free Summoning XP for one

Had two santa hats on classic, sold them for 200k each. I thought I was rich.

When easter eggs dropped I had loads and just ate them whilst training, kept none of them.

I do have some of the other none tradeable's like a scythe etc

I started playing Runescape approximately 5 years ago. I've always intended on creating a good all-rounder, however my main focus was making as much money as possible through merchanting as a non-member.
I managed to obtain my first Santa Hat for about 4 million. I merchanted my way to my first Party Hat, which I lost shortly thereafter. I paid dearly for trusting someone at the time - a mistake I will certainly not make twice.

I promptly quit following the loss of my 200M fortune, but returned for a short spell during the dungeoneering update, then quit again having lost all incentive. I returned later following the removal of the trade limit.

Yeah, people traded Party Hats for less than 100k when they came out. Little did they know they'd be worth Billions.
