Corsair Force Series 3 120GB or Crucial RealSSD M4 128GB ?

This will be my first SSD. Main priority is reliability - I've read about freezing issues, blue screens etc with SSDs. Which would you choose ?

I note that the Corsair already seems to have the latest firmware, whereas with the Crucial I may need to update it. Is this an easy process ?

nope nothing different at all but cheaper, actually I think the difference is that it comes with a USB converter, I have that model in my build:

just wondering, but dont most cases these days allow 2.5" drives fitted on the 3.5" without the use of a mounting bracket anyway?

yes they do, but he might have an older case... I personally just use velcro on my old case...

Either of them for me but also including the Samsung 830 SSD (would prefer the crucial m4 though), whichever one hits £65-70 (including delivery) will be my purchase!

I'll be using this with a motherboard that is just SATA II. Do I use normal SATA II cables ?

Just to point out. A sata cable is well, a sata cable. There's no bandwidth limitations built into the cables. All sata cables will run at the speed of the sata port and device.

I have a 128gb M4 that is blue screening. Only a year old. When i boot back to my raptor hdd the system is fine. Im going to have to do a firmware upgrade and a total reinstall...
