**A TRULY INCREDIBLE SAMSUNG PRE-ORDER ONLY DEAL - CHECK INSIDE FOR MORE INFO!!**

Unless I'm missing something, isn't this a step down from the S23A550H -- which is currently available in TWO for £120? (So the "was" price is a bit misleading, although (presumably) technically true.)

Your post I find confusing?????

The S23A350H is Pre-Order ONLY at £101.99 Inc. VAT and its a 2ms response!

The S23A550H is £119.99, so it is £18 more. That is a 5ms monitor too.

So what is your point exactly?

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be confusing. And I certainly wasn't implying that this isn't a great deal. Indeed, I'm quite tempted -- which is why I wanted to find out where this sits in the product range, and if the 550H might be worth the extra £18.

You've already pointed out the 2ms vs 5ms difference, but could you tell me what else is different between this and the 550H? I was thinking that the 550H was "higher spec" than the 350H (judging by just the model number and average price -- though admittedly those might not be the best measures ever!), but maybe I'm wrong? (Obviously yes wrt. response time, but there might be other factors. I think I read about the 550H having a proximity sensor earlier, for example.)

So, the point about the prices was more trying to find out "Is the 350H really generally £45 more than the 550H?" (£175 - £130 ("was" price minus 550H non-TWO price).) (Sorry, I guess that is confusing, even when trying to explain it clearly!) Actually, it wasn't a point so much as a poorly worded query.

Thanks,
Simon

Looks a great deal Gibbo...keep them coming....

Try and find a Vesa mounted (24") good un for me with 2ms response time in a deal and I may well be tempted to hit 'buy'....

Just sayin

The 550h is also a deal too, so way below it's normal/old pricing.

He's trying to ask what differentiates the 550H from the 350H as they are, at the moment, a similar price as opposed to their normal ~£50 price difference - which would imply one is of a higher spec...

I'm no expert as to what the differences are, from what I can see the 550H has a more upper looking bezel and is thinner.

Actual panel I suspect is the same.

Makes it an even better deal then!

Please remember this Samsung deal is no different to the others we have done like the S23A700 3D 120Hz which we shifted over a 1000 units off. Samsung are giving us their last stocks, hence once they are gone, that is it, GONE!

Don't miss out guys, its a rare opportunity where you get to buy such premium monitors at budget end of the market pricing.

Quick question (may sound stupid but I don't really know much about monitors), my PC has a GTX 550Ti, would I be better off connecting via the DVI adapter or HDMI to this monitor?

Also is the HDMI just plug in and go or do you need to configure drivers/settings before switching?

Ive just bought one of these Samsung monitors and they are superb value for money, i didn't get it from Overclockers as i needed a stop gap monitor straight away so couldn't wait for the pre-order.

No reflection from the screen, superb quality when watching movies and they are great for web browsing. Ive got mine connected to a Sky HD box upstairs and the HD content looks great on this screen. You won't be dissapointed.
