***** Pictures of things we bought in July 2012 *****

Finally a picture of it with the S3, there are none anywhere!

Looking good. Quite a big difference (as I knew there would be).

Just for you Robbo :)

Reafirms that I can not stand how big phones have gotten.
It's the main reason I never picked up the Galaxy Nexus in the end.

Enjot the Nexus 7 though chaps, it looks nice :D

What's the deal with the purple button? Did Samsung run out of the right coloured plastic?

The screen on that S3 looks top notce.

Pffft, I treat it like as if it were a ginger child now, special, in a cool kind of way :p

Tonight's veg box! I get one delivered each week for £7 from a local company - I was posting it in my diet thread and thought it might be interesting for people in this one.

Just Googled, rather interesting!

Whose WiFi are you going to be hax0ring? :p

Everyone's by the looks of it. London is especially bad with so many access points in dense population it's a disaster waiting to happen.

It's a proof of concept project I'm working on - I did a quick survey by having a walk round the block and found so many 'exploitable' routers. It doesn't matter if they are WPA or WPA2 protected all of them can be hax0red by a spotty teenager in no time at all. It's shocking tbh

Can't reveal too much as it may foul the forum rules and I may want to make a few bob off the back of this (if I'm not feeling too lazy :D)

I got one of those alfa adaptors.

They are rated at 1Amp but only run at 500mA in the UK.

mW is the metric you're looking for ;)

Legally the UK only allows 100mW but you force your adapter into whatever country mode you want. Force it into NZ and you'll get the full 30dbm 1000mW

ifconfig wlan2 down
iw reg set NZ
ifconfig wlan2 up

Bingo

ps Beware of fake Alfas, it's a minefield out there

Nexus 7 is here!

First thing one does when receiving a gadget with a screen? Load up OcUK! Although this was for a purpose :p

Actually i consider it a good test of the screen in terms of quality and resolution. If i can read the writing without needing to zoom in then you're onto a winner.

Seems expensive for what you get.
