The picture I saw was putting forward the message that the attack was facilitated by the pro-gun community, somehow meant to encourage concealed carry. In other words, of everyone carried a firearm he wouldn't have lasted long.

In a smoke filled dark room, more people with guns would have been a complete massacre. How would you determine who was the original shooter?

If anything this event will make people anti-gun, not pro concealed carry.

Yeah one guy was a soldier who'd served in Afghanistan. He survived months of being shot at by the Taliban and then comes on and gets gunned down by one of his own. A horrible irony :(

I'm pretty certain that cinemas operate a rule that states 'Please don't bring your children after 20:00 in case of gunmen'

This conspiracy stuff seems to come from radio host Alex Jones.

As with many of Alex’s other ideas, his portrayal of the shooter is not of a disgruntled student or angry youth, but of a drugged and manipulated black-ops mind control subject. This person was probably drugged and manipulated into the theater, and let into the theater by a CIA escort. Alex makes sure to mention that those exit doors don’t open from the outside. Alex also stresses that this shooting must have something to do with a lack of US support for an international arms treaty, called the Arms Trade Treaty, and this event is meant to convince more of our senators to ok it.

Calm down dear. I'm not blaming any victims - I'm just curious as to why a 6 year old was at a 12a film..

as for the whole gun control issues in the states unless someone has a go at the end of there presidency it will never happen.
