says the guy with a 0.7 K/D and SPM of 375.

I know my stats aren't great, but then again i'm not hating on somebody who posted a 64-0 tank run.

Regardless of game mode, keeping a tank alive for that long is hard. Your average battlefield player jumps straight in a tank, thinks he's in a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robot and heads straight at the enemy and dies within a minute.

Give credit where its due.

hes right though getting high scores in vehicles isn't really hard

Especially with game-approved wallhacks and auto-healing ;)

I can't play anything but hardcore - I don't like it requiring half a clip to kill someone... or a .50 cal sniper rifle taking more than one shot to kill when hit center mass... it's just silly.

To be fair, the length of time he kept the tank alive is good & most can't accomplish it...

Which LMG is the best in public opinion ?
Depends on how you play the support class. If you want to stay static and defend/suppress objectives, your gonna want one of the belt fed weapons such as the pkp or m60. Particularly with a bipod. If your more the sort of player with an attacking mindset, you want something nice and light handling, such as the m27 or l86a2, theese are just basically heavy barreled assault rifles.

Depends on the context and what you want to do with it. On a bipod, the M240B is an absolute monster. Fire it while on the move and you'll end up staring at the ceiling.

M249 isn't quite as powerful, but is very mobile and has a higher fire rate.

I believe the PKP Pecheneg is meant to be very powerful, but again, suffers unless you're are deployed in a good spot. I find the base machine guns are pretty good if you want to be mobile - they handle more like automatic rifles than light machine guns.

Best thing is to experiment and see what you like best in different situations. Have a play with different attachments. My only advice would be that I find scopes are wasted on LMGs - too much shaking around to be much good and not powerful/accurate enough to drop people with one shot. I tend to use the HOLO sight, which gives a nice precise sight picture but it open enough for good visibility so you can switch targets easily while laying down suppressing fire.

lol love this forum! so much hate!

Doesn't look like hate to me. It's a video of you owning infantry for 15 minutes on Damavand Peak and boasting of a 64-0 score then getting reminded that it's not actually that big a deal.

Easy to justify it as "hate" on the part of everyone else when it's just reasoned opinion. If you really want to impress, take some footage of proper long range tank combat against other moving targets, while on the move yourself (unguided shells), that will allow proper judgement of your skill.

Well done for the expressing good survivability, but seriously, don't post a video of you laying waste to hordes of infantry with AP/Canister at point blank range on a tight map then cry hate when everyone else isn't impressed as you think they should be.

Is he ?

Jump in a tank on a softcore game and post your battle report if it isn't that hard.

I expect at least a 50:1 KD ratio within the next few days if it's that easy ?

No it's not, not even in the slightest, especially so on normal mode.

Likewise. If its that easy you should be able to jump on and achieve one straight away ?

Says the guy playing on 360 with a controller and super aim assist lol.:D

The aim assist isn't all that. I turn it off as i find it more of a hindrance than a help. I play TF2 on PC as well using a keyboard / mouse and mastering the sticks on the console took longer than it took to master aiming with a mouse.

Besides, i'm not the one hating on the guy saying he's got no skill....

depends what situtaion.

If you want to wander around and fire on the move and use it like an assault rilfe, then the L86 is the way to go. Its an absolute laser cannon with foregrip and flash supressor. Practically no recoil and can be used full auto to mow down entire squads.

If you want to lay stationary and provide covering fire, you want the PKP imo. Highest damage, and lots of supression. I've climbed into the hills on firestorm and taken out whole squads of snipers with it before they could get a shot on target and work out where the fire was coming from. Its great at long range. Fit extended mags and you have a 200 round box. Just lay waste to everybody in your path.

THe M249 is worth a shout as well, as a middle ground between the two. Its kind of a jack of all trades weapon. can be used hip fire or with a bipod to cover, but just not as well as the masters of either.

Also, decide what you want attachment wise. Extended magazines good for laying down long bursts of suppressing fire, but sacrifice that for a flash suppressor to reduce the recoil a little which might give you the edge at range.

Not a lot sounds better than an M60E4 on full chat for a full 200 round belt though :D
