when did white became a colour for girls? so every white car on the road is feminine.. damn.. didn't know! :) you buy which ever you like best.. both are nice but obviously some will like white some will like Pblue..

White is as much a mans colour as anything else... it's the reason the classic white shirt and white T-shirt are a staple colour of many a mans wardrobe. Anyone who says white is a womans colour clearly has zero clue. :p

Lol the samsung rep came into CPW when I was sorting my GS3 out and he said he'd go for white.

I agree. I really don't understand the "white is for girls" view at all. Looks great in my opinion. Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion though :D.
 
My opinion stands. If you own a white phone, and you had an option for another colour. You probably wear a bra under your white t-shirts :-P. My main reason is of course that the screen blends in so much better with dark colours as does the sensors and front camera holes. I do like to tease.
 
The colours aren't much of a problem, it is more so the design! It is awful!!!!! :p

The blue (especially since the home button is purple) and white are both quite "girly" if you ask me...........

Dear god 371 pages later and we are still yapping on about which colour is best????:p

Anyhow finally got round to updating my rooted S3 to the latest firmware. Been away for some time as ive had other things to deal with but still LOVING the blue version of the S3:D

IMO it is.

Had no problems with the GS 2/GN design (loved the look/design of them) etc. but IMO the GS 3 just looks awful for the stated reasons before:

- the blue trim on the PB and the brush effect (think the silver trim on the white one is quite nice though)
- the camera, flash and speaker parts look like they have just been stuck on
- the edges/corners are too rounded
- hard home button ruins the front IMO (especially on the blue model due to the colour difference), the buttons/controls should have been on screen like the GN, would have looked sooooo much better

Personally find them rather cheap looking and the feel of the devices pretty cheap (think the white one looks cheaper than the PB though)
 
The devices do feel more tacky, I pretty much carry a second battery around with me now.

But... i cant go back to the s2, its downstairs could swap it with this, Just cant deal with the old screen anymore.

As said, it is in my opinion (my first post on the subject was more of a troll/fun post hence the "dons flame proof suit" and the troll face at the end :p as other people were having there wee "war" on white VS blue, so I thought I would chip in and change the subject in some ways :p), so why does it matter? If you and the other owners like it, then I am glad that you do and I am not going to try and convince you that it is awful, we all have different preferences regarding colours/design of items.



Besides as you are well aware, there are plenty of people that think the same as I do (on pretty much all those points) and there are plenty of people who think the same as you and the others who think the design is great and then some who just don't care.


Heck, look at TW fox and his stand on everything regarding build/premium quality :p :o

People were asking which colour to get, not whether to get one or not due to the design! That was my point, it wasn't really relevant. We all know you hate it almost as much as you hate Apple! :p
 
Agreed the S3 isn't a glorious design. I can't say any slab type phones have been so far. When you get "large" like the latest is, it's a struggle.
