Poll: Many still think BFBC2 is better than BF3. Whats your opinion?

BF3 by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar. BC2 was ridiculously funnelled and did not allow for in-depth tactics. BF3 however (esp. with B2K maps) is the textbook definition of free-form Multiplayer Warfare - so many possibilities, ways to play and ways to coordinate.

Loved BC2 btw, just prefer BF3 by far in every conceivable way.

I loved BC2, tried to play it recently and after playing BF3 it sucked. So sluggish and horrible.

BF2 got me back into PC gaming. There is Nothing better than 32 v 32 organised game play, with commander and 6 man squads. All parts of your side working together and having the ability to communicate.

BC2 was ok, I think people forgave it having the Battlefield name because it was a console port and that BC1 was consol only. It gave no pretences, a dumbed down version of BF2.

Then came the the hope and dreams of BF3, with promises such as big maps, Built for the PC. What we got was a rushed game with feels like 10 steps back from BF2, it really should be called BC3.

But I still find myself playing BF3 once or twice a week and it is better than BC2

I put about 300+ hours in BC2, and loved it. Played about 100 hours on BF3 it got dull fast.

BFBC2 for me, BF3 isnt anywhere near as good, too many cheats, still buggy, maps have too many choke points, flags are too close together. I still play BF3 but dont enjoy it anywhere near as much as i did BFBC2.

Loads with 32 player servers easy to find. In fact every game has people all the time to play on in: conquest, rush, squad rush and even squad death match. Amazing. I'd say at least 4000+ players at all times. If you wanna hook up let me know.

The quality of the graphics in BC2 Feel much more sharp and streamlined even though bf3 has some new effects and what not here and there i feel the graphics are clunky the gun fights can be cool but its just so unrefined.

Im not impressed by it on Ultra and it just feels so meh compared to any of the other bf games.

The flying and vehicles feel like a SIDE game and dont really accomplish much.

I mean in bf2 flying a bomber and bombing enemy tanks really meant something.

In bf3 we have arcadey jets dumbed down so there easy to fly in and easy to die in.

It's good as wel because now most servers have "regulars" and there are 3 servers I alternate between that are pretty much always full and competitive games.

BC1 + BF1943 > BC2 > BF3

ALSO THIS! 2142 was the LAST true to the bf series bf game in terms of style play vehicles etc.

I found BF3 too buggy and clumsy in its implementation just to get into a sodding server. Preferred BC2's method and found gameplay much more enjoyable.

I love the way quite often swearing and verbal fight brakes out in chat during game in BC2. People get so easily ****ed off in this game.

Really enjoy playing BC2 still but the hit reg is dire compared to BF3.
I actually register hits when I know I missed and vice versa.

I'd say the sound in BC2 also has more character and the graphics are probably almost on a par with BF3

I'm probably about 50-50 between the 2 games but 550 hrs of BC2 vs about 200 on BF3 tells its own story.
That was pre baby being born mind you so who knows.

Bc2 for me, bf3 just doesn't feel right for me,even with all the patches / new packs it still looks and plays **** and still after all these months has very little team play

Bf3 now only gets played by my son who isn't that impressed either with the marmite all over the screen when a bullet comes within 100ft of your player

Anyway that's enough bf3 bashing, bc2 for me until the next bf game arrives

Definitely one of the my favourite BF games but the lag is HORRIBLE. Sniping and shootouts on the Titan were terrible.
If they were to remake it, or release a 2143 or something then i would buy it in an instant.

Thing is they don't need Titans to have that sort of epic phased gameplay. They could do the same thing in BF3 but have it as an underground bunker or something -- so you have your big conquest battle which then turns into the tight corridor to corridor battle for whatever objective. DICE are extremely un-inventive with game modes, we really should be playing things a hell of a lot more fun and engrossing than rush/conquest.
