Thanks to a guest pass I've played this for around 30 minutes and it's slick, looks good, plays well but I'm not sure I'd get £45 out of it. Activison+Blizzard+highly anticipated game=£15 on top of most standard PC RRP's in typical activision price rapery.

The Rmah was the only thing which sold D3 for me tbh, getting a bit of extra cash while playing a good game = win. Friends at work made £100 quid. I've made £0

What is the point of doing that, it's like picking up a crossword that comes with all the answers on a separate sheet ready to fill in.
Yes I can understand why people would use the AH later on in the game if their drops haven't been great but using it in your fashion basically takes all the fun and point of the game.
Also, after reading the majority of your posts I don't know whether you're just trolling or trying to get your post count up but the stuff you seem to write in this thread seems completely inane
I've still been able to make about 1 million a day from very limited play (one or 2 runs a night). Part of the issue is pricing, I would guess a high percentage of all the items on the auction house are over priced and not selling. Unless you know something is end gear you have to bite the bullet and undercut everyone by 30% I think.

RMAH seems dead to me now. Was selling quite a few items but not sold anything in nearly two weeks now. AH seems much the same. Items are listed way too highly priced. The decent ones I need anyway.
Indeed EU server is rubbish when it comes to RMAH / AH compared to the US
Know people who are making like $100 a week on the US RMAH server
Only thing i have sold on the RMAH is gold but only got a few quid for it as not loaded with gold lol

You can change the settings the options to play on US/Asia
Will only let you use the AH though
Think you need to make a US battlenet account and linked it to a address in the US as far as i know
Seen a few people say you could make an address up but not sure if it works or not

not sure if any of that is true lol because so many EU players were accidentally playing US servers at the start because it was defaulted to that
False. You simply need to change the region settings in the options in order to play on US or Asia servers. The only difference being the latency issues. The only thing you can't use is the RMAH AFAIK.

and because you change completely when you go to a different server, you don't have your characters therefore different stashes, so you can't sell your stuff to americans unless you farmed it on american servers

hi, first post here so go easy if it is rather stupid or obvious and since I am at work I cannot check it myself.
I remember changing to the European server shortly after I first started playing (stupid options defaulted to Americas even though Blizzard know I am in the UK) and when I now go to the RMAH I only have the option of GBP, my question is if you are in the UK can you enable an option to sell in Euros instead?

In my first week of play sold about 5 items on gold auction house in EU. Nothing on RMAH yet...
TO me D3 is lots of fun and will keep me entertained all the way to hardcore inferno. PVP arena still to come. Dont know what people are complaining about. Game is good.

It's just that D2 was that much greater and people who never played any previous Diablos expected an MMO.
Just noticed I got a Fiery Brimstone when salvaging, didn't see a legendary item though? I shows as being a "blue/magic" Piercer that gave me it. I thought only legendary items gave them? Hope I didn't salvage something good haha.
