***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Lol, poor mrk! :D :p

He will make sure notifications like that are never shown in screenshots from now on :D :p

Na it doesn't bother me at all since I don't choose the name. . It's just a group of friends and family so who cares what anyone else thinks!

That's one big desktop. Is your phone trying to be a tablet now or is that what you see wearing glasses? :p

I know, and he mentioned reports of leaks on it, to which I'm replying to^

You mis-read. Benjo was reporting memory leak in CM10. Snapdragon said he been using vanilla JB build without issue since last night.

My bad (I think!).

Nope not at all, some folks have reported a men leak with the build I linked to, however I've got a small ram monitor widget to keep a rough and ready eye on things. Day and a half usage with no crashes,no reboots, my ram appears to be acting correctly goes as low as 100mb following heavy usage but is showing 265mb at idle.

P.s I'm even using a live wallpaper to try and force the issue but nada, nice wp though might keep it, ickle floating jelly beans lol

Nandroided back to Checkrom. Got my second memory leak on CM10 in an hour, annoying having to restart the phone constantly.

Ordered the S3 in white. Will be moving from the Nexus S. I'm hoping the s3 gets Jelly bean soon as I'm very used to it on my nexus S! Specifically for the white phone, what cases are recommended?

Quite, CM10 and the one posted earlier appear to be different ROMs.

I think the AOSP one (installed it last night, works good) is based on CM10 though, but with some of the extra's ripped out. It seems pretty good, but I really miss toggles so I'm going to try CM10.

I'm heading to Egypt in a few weeks and want to use the S3 Sat Nav as I have done many times on my old Nokia (Nokia had the maps stored in its memory after I downloaded them).

Is there anyway to download a map for Egypt on the S3 so I don't get roaming charges when using the Sat Nav?

Edit, I am not using the Sat Nav to get to Egypt :) ............. only when travelling inside the country..
