Alienware m18x or m17x r4?

How do you mean slow..do you mean stutter due to access time ..was there reports on notebook review :confused:

No, just the controller was poor, so the speeds were only getting about half of what they should have with the r3, im assuming they have fixed it for r4 since it also has usb 3 and what not.

Not only that bay 0 flicks between sata ii and sata iii speeds depending what mood its in. Im currently trying to get mine replaced.

Bit confused, are all the screens 3d as standard? As when I look at the Alienware website or the outlet I never see an option for an 3d screen on the m17x or the m18x.

Maybe something you ask for on the phone? If it is standard, do they send you the glasses too? :P
 
Quick question if anyone is still up. Does the laptop come with a windows cd or is it a partition on hard drive. Reason I ask is I got a spammy 830 ssd to go into it as a boot drive and wonders how I'm going to put windows on it.
 
Yeah thought about that. What about the software that is bundled with the laptop. Like Alienware program's. Are they on disk?
