Ford Focus - which one?

So the choice is a MK3 Focus 125 or a MK3 Focus 125 or a MK3 Focus 125 or a MK3 Focus 125 or a MK3 Focus 125 or a MK3 Focus 125.

Tough one but I go with the MK3 Focus 125.

You don't need a forum to pick a colour for you or some minor difference in mileage or options.

Not sure I'd buy any of them to be honest. 13 grand is a lot of money for a car like that. If I had to though, it'd be one of the ones with climate control.

mmmm, ok, open to suggestions. Can't afford to above £13k. Have 2 x small kids, not interested in speed (used to driving 2L Mondeo's) and so would prefer a family type car, up to 2 years old and under 20k mileage.

Have looked at Passat Blue motion, Skoda Superb and another Mondeo, but these are coming in at betwen £14k and £16k.

Well if you are tying to impress some one you aint going to be doing it in a 10 plate focus :P

Why do i need to impress anyone? I'm not 17 with my first chavved 1L, big exhaust corsa. I'm a 30+ bloke trying to get a newish motor for my commute to work and to also take the family out at weekends.

I also had a look over an 11 plate Titanium in our local car park and it looked very nice (not sure on boot size though compared to my Mondeo :())

Don't worry about the mileage, go on condition. Personally I would save a chunk and go for a slightly older one (even just a year or two).

Were you happy with the Mondeo Titanium X you had before? I'd be temped to drop the age and mileage requirement a bit and get a 3/4 year old Titanium X.

The mk3 Focus isn't very big for family outings at the weekend. IIRC it's actually a little smaller in some aspects than the mk2 focus, although wider.

Whilst this is usually sound advice the new Focus only came out last year so one 1-2 years older would be a previous shape, a car nobody with a brain would spend more than £5k on.

i have no idea what you are going on about, but i guess you missed the point. i meant buying a 2 year old car to 'Keep up with the Joneses'. Buy a car on its merits and not for which year the number plate is showing.
