Numpty? :o

His goal scoring record in Germany is very good as is his one for City.

He got 19 goals last season which was great imo. He played in a team built around midgets who will interchange positions, play quick passes and are generally creative inside and around the box. Dzeko struggled to do this.

He was 3rd choice for nearly the whole season also eventually dropping to 4th. Dzeko needs a run of games like he got at the start of the season and look how good he was then.

If he went to Bayern he would be first choice and as I said with service from people who will give him the crosses etc he likes he will score goals for fun.

Rafael surely (:

That much money on the bench? I can't see that happening myself , even if it would make an awesome squad.

Would still be concerned about cm and lb positions in the squad.

Still a massive improvement.

The Brazilian Football Federation says no English club has been in contact about trying to sort out a medical for Lucas Moura during the Olympics, while Sao Paulo say they will fight hard to keep him.

The highly-rated 19-year-old has attracted the attention of several clubs in Europe this summer and it is understood that Manchester United are in pole position to secure his signature.

However, Brazil's FA (CBF) has dismissed reports of Moura being given permission to undergo a medical with United.

"We haven't received any request from an English club regarding that," the CBF told Globo Esporte.

"In case we do receive such a request, we won't allow the player to leave Brazil's training to undergo the medical."

Moura's agent, Wagner Ribeiro, has also insisted it is too early to talk about the player completing a transfer anywhere.

He said: "I don't talk about factoids. This news about the selling of Lucas is not true."

Sao Paulo maintain that no talks are currently taking place over a proposed move as they look to hold on to the winger, although they admit it would be wrong to rule out a departure.

Vice-president Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes told Lancenet: "He will certainly return to Sao Paulo.

"There is no negotiation going on. As we have already said it's very hard for him to leave during the current transfer window.

"We have no interest in selling him but Sao Paulo are not stupid. We know that in certain situations you can't say no.

"But such kind of offer hasn't come yet."

Deary me.

is it just me who can't imagine RVP at man united?
It never sits right having major players move between competing clubs does it. Silvestre made that move and wasn't as uncomfortable as the Cole to Chelsea move, but I think RVP would be worse than either. I've no direct interest in Arsenal or Utd, but as a neutral in this case I don't like it.

I can't see it happening. Utd arent going to pay the money and Wenger would rather keep him than sell for 12-15m.

Unless someone comes up with the money I can see Wenger keeping him until January to try and prove we can compete for trophies again.

I think City are the only team that are going to cough up. City or staying I think.

Looks good in blue :p

Even if City sell Dzeko and Adebayor, they still have Tevez, Balotelli and Aguero. All three will want to play regularly, surely?

I can't imagine him playing for Man Utd or Man City, but the amount of press reports saying he favours Man Utd have been overwhelming, so maybe with the right offer we can seal the deal. I don't think £20m would be a bad price, everything is a risk and he's one worth taking at that price. That's assuming he isn't demanding higher wages than Rooney or something, though.

why do you think Utd will only cough up only 15m? I'm sure he would sell 5m+ worth of shirt sales on his own per season so I can't see 20m being that much of an issue

I'm also not 100% sure it would be Completely AW's decision ( rather than lose him for nothing in a year).

IF the player refuses to re-sign and doesn't want to migrate, club is left with few options.

When will people learn? This is a myth.

An FM based myth...

Though our fan base went up at least 200 people when we signed Tadanari Lee with a few very excited japanese fans turning up!

Don't think they are pumping 5m into the club though... (hot japanese women did improve preseason games)
