***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Really:

I'm not having a go, I'm just saying that the figures you originally stated aren't actually possible.

Crap, could have sworn I had, sorry about that. Still extremely surprised by the battery life and the battery does seem to need to get itself settled in.

Another firmware update (0.17MB) arrived this morning:

Not 100% sure but the build date for Voda's latest is Thur Jul 26 16:59:33 KST and has a kernel number of 3.0.15-933142 for the record. BB is i9300BULG2.

Mine is an unbranded phone (build XXBLG8) and Baseband has gone from XXLG8 to XXLH1.

I've just moved from Omega v11 and latest stable siyah kernel to the newest Wannalite is changing the stock kernel back to siyah going to lose me any wannalite tweaks?

What wanam tweaks? Kernel flashing won't lose any tbh, I just flashed from stock to Siyah and about to flash Franco as I have found out it supports exFAT since rev7 so going to check it out.

Not lost any settings/tweaks :p

:D

Hairy moment with Franco kernel just now, booted up and it said "SDCard safe to remove"

Once I'd cleaned up the brick that I'd just deposited in my seat, I went and flashed Siyah beta6 again and the card mounted fine. So exFAT ISN'T supported then even though it's said to be from rev7 of Franco kernel.

I'll stick with Siyah.

Have you noticed if the newest beta has stopped the sound crackling issue? He says it should but needs more testing.

The STweaks app with Siyah setting the audio output to "Pleasant for ears" delivers amazing output to the earphones. Both ends of the sound range are nicely amplified. The Eargasm mode didn't play well with my Phonak earphones as I noticed distortion above 75% volume.
