Hi guys I had a raid0 in two F3 samsung and I can see that I don't have one of them and I need to leave the other one like NEW, and it happens the next one.

I have delete the partition and format it with several programs and still with

HDD low level format tool 4.25 it says that I have -INTEL RAID0 Volume-

HDD Low Level Format Tool 4.25; http://hddguru.com
Device details for [1] Intel Raid 0 Volume 1.0. [2000.4 GB]

When what I have is just 1.000Gb not 2.000 that was my old RAID0 but now is connected for itself and as I said I have done multiples formats and so on, but still detectes this. how come?

Well how can I leave the HDD like new. then like that I will be able to use it for other things...

I try to format it with the program that detected that there is a RAID and it says that.

09/08/2012 23:58:40 Format Error occurred at offset 2,281,635,840: 19 - The media is write protected

Please guys...

you dont have the two drives? if you do you can press ctrl and i and delete the raid array then format the drives

if not idk what software would format the drives without deleting the array first

maybe parted magic would?

Going into RAID setup with CTRL-I during the POST process may still enable you delete the RAID array even if you only have 1 of the disks.

Try it.
