Washing Machine literally blew up last night!

We though someone was breaking in, or a bomb had gone off - no joke, such was the force of the failure it hit the worktop it was on so hard it managed to throw our wine fridge onto the floor! Along with a load of my wifes candles and break them all...

Ive called them up... I think the wife did it...

TBH Im pretty sure we will get a replacement as watchdog etc will be all over this like a bad smell i would imagine...

There is about 150 quid of clothes trapped in there as well! Im no happy TBH...

Not tested our wine fridge yet...
 
We had a component explode in a dish washer once. It literally sounded like a shot from inside the dish washer, and when we opened the door smoke came pouring out. Upon looking inside, there was a pound coin sized hole in the door skin, and a path of destruction through one of the rows of plates. It was odd, it was almost like a shaped charge had gone off in the door.

The lengths manufactures go to, to make sure the thing breaks after the warranty is out :p

You had to post this the one day I decide to put my washing machine on and head out to work.

Impressive damage btw!
 
Did the electrics blow up or did the balancing bit of concrete come loose & batter it to bits ?

Also buy a Bosch or Miele next time. :)
