*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

I don't play my Sorc much now as the only content it can do is farming Denova HM and NP. Don't get me started on PVP, fed up of being put in with poor teams which makes farming WH gear much more difficult. I guess I should jump in RWZ but finding one is a chore and my guild only has 5 or so serious PVP player, the rest are PVE. So I started an Operative (level 22 healer right now, which I got bored of) and Assassin (level 34 tank). I'm having great fun with the tank. I also have a 50 sentinal on another server with newbie level 50 gear, did Soa story with it quickly which was good fun and I got most of the gear. I think I'll gear up the Sentinel while I'm bored of grinding class quests with the Assassin.

Good'day mates

Who can I chat to for an invite/sign up to the “Immortals” guild on "Nightmare Lands" for my brother and I?

we have rolled a toon each on the republic side and are looking for a home, we are levelling and due to work/RL at endgame will limited to PVP and perhaps occasional HM/Operation time permitting.

both friendly, half brained and have manners :D

Operative is the best?

I'm playing an Operative at the minute and "pulling teeth" seems like a fair description.
How exactly am I supposed to do damage?

Operative's aren't the best DPS by a rather large margin but they do require you to pay some attention to the class. I could literally mash my hands over the keys with a vanguard and be effective, that i find boring.

The story is also boring, the operative story I found very engaging.

Started playing a BH about 1am this morning, logged off at 4am with him sitting on lvl 10.5 in the Imperial Fleet, liking the story a lot so far with them, planning to do what i can with him (Mercenary Healer/DPS hybrid) and maybe try out a few more Imperial classes, as I've only really ever got my teeth into Shadow on the Republic side. (20 Guardian & 17 Gunslinger too).

Was funny though, as a Republic player on Nightmare Lands you pretty much lose every warzone, went in as Imp, and not lost a game aside to other Imperials! :D

Same as with WoW, all the time on Alliance I struggled like crazy to find a PUG that wasn't full of one eyed, 1 fingered cretins, moved to Horde and kicked booty!

I've only got my Operative to the end of Alderaan, but so far I've found the story very forgettable.

YOU SHUT YOUR FILTHY WHORE MOUTH!

Only joking. Story enjoyment is always going to be subjective and I genuinely enjoyed the Agent story, found it very engrossing. Maybe it was because I played an agent after leveling a Inquisitor and running around the universe like an intergalactic ghostbuster.

McDaniel! its me Magnem from the nightmare lands mate, hows it going :)

Havent seen you in a while, and i was wondering mate if you could possibly provide me a little insight into your gunslinger, im also getting one going myself at about lvl 30 atm. Any chance you could let me in on what tree you've got spec'd :)?

Sup Pal!

I've only really been raiding on my Republic toons and the last 2 weeks that's only happened once due to some holiday in the guild - been levelling my Imp alts but even that is sporadic atm... too hot/stuffy in my cave!

I went down the SharpShooter tree for levelling and end game, some people really love sabouteur as well though, personall never tried it - think my points are something like 31/5/5 but will need to check; pretty basic end game rotation to to keep energy over 70 for the most part.

Trickshot is awesome - a great level 30 skill!

Anyone able to assist? :p

Oki koky, well we are still looking for a guild so if one is recruiting :D

I might be wrong mate but not seen them about; I am more active on Rep side so not sure who is reputable on Imp side and recruiting. There's plenty of recruit spam on Rep side though so assume Imp is same, shouldn't be to hard to find some one :)

Finding "some one" is not a problem finding some one "cool" now there is the fun part :p

Yeah, Inquisitor wasn't great was it. Although it was possibly better than the Sith Warrior.

I've now finished Chapter 1 of the Agent story. Lets hope the Agent has a stronger Chapter 2 and 3...

It's just occured to me that I couldn't actually tell you what I was doing on Alderaan, it must've been so dull that I didn't even bother remembering it!
To be honest I've been pretty disapointed with all the class story arcs. Some of the planet story arcs are pretty good though.

Back playing my Shadow & enjoying it again, dinged 43 at last, only been 7 months in the making!

Now to try & find a reputable but fun guild in ToFN, last thing I wanna do is join Immortals again, WAY too much ott seriousness in there and a few people in the guild (Defy to name one) are the kind of people you want to reach through the screen & strangle them.
