Mocking Gary Barlow..

I think what he is getting at is that "words" can not cause physical pain.

they can hurt emotionally, but that's a whole different story ...

Because if the pain isn't physical it doesn't hurt, right?

I mean, by that logic, why is Barlow even upset about his stillborn child? It's not like it hurt him or his wife physically.

Pain is pain whether it be mental or physical =/

This guy deserves jailtime, he's publicly mocking a guy who just experienced one of the worst things you can in life. He's doing it on purpose to cause distress and harass.

As someone who's lost a couple of kids to miscarriage I can say it does physically hurt the woman A LOT.

Don't jump down my throat mate I was only explaining how I read the guys post.

I do not condone what was said in anyway shape or form. Just from a "words/meanings" perspective words in verbal form can not cause physical pain.

Or at least to date, and from my own experience, they have not to me.

By all accounts he's succeeded, the publicity starved cretin has got just what he wants.

I had a quick look at his previous tweets, seems to be on there all day just putting out rubbish. Nothing better to do? Wonder how many actually read any of it.

There is a big difference between posting a couple of distasteful jokes on twitter, and sending dozens of offensive comments directly @ the subject.

Sending even one @ the subject is shaky territory I think, but sending multiple amounts to harassment, then I think its ok for the police to get involved.

That dude is an utter clown. I thought it was just the one tweet he made. Had no idea he made a flurry of them.

As for getting the police involved.... I think that would be a wrong move. In this country we promote free speech. And the right to say what we want. It would be wrong to get the law involved.

I say let us (the public) have our way with him/it!

Police involved? why involve them at all in a case that can easily be dealt with by Twitter suspending the account.

Some people just want to watch the world get shackled and chained, i say.

Unfortunately, we're all guilty of helping him gain notoriety:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...r-star-Kenneth-Tong-admits-anorexia-hoax.html

"The discussion centered round whether it was possible, to go from nowhere to be a globally recognized figure within a week harnessing the power of the internet and specifically Twitter, which I have always maintained is a better medium than national TV.
“My friend said it wasn't possible. I said it was. To prove him wrong, I decided as a hoax to promote via Twitter something that was universally appalling, I chose managed anorexia."

He also seems to use his money to buy his 'friends', so wouldn't look in to that too much.

The problem is everyone getting so offended, rather than just completely ignoring the guy. Same with other recent Twitter 'outrages'.
