Which one?

I can get insured for £1500... Rather steep!

2004 model. Company called 'Insure your motor'.

Not too bad though... S2000 it is! Haha, maybe a couple more months research into some other cars, would consider a decent RX7, always liked the design :)

That's damn cheap - take them up on it!

Frsutratingly - without my non-fault accident... I could insure one for £1100 - it seems

Won't be getting a new car for a minimum of 12 months, but the next one is going to be one to keep for a while. Hence the obsurd amount of research I will be doing :)

A plan or sky insurance. Chris Knott no longer cover sub 30 I think.

I paid about £1200 at 24, now at 30 I pay £550

Sky laughed at me when I told them how much I was paying for my MX5 with admiral and said it wasn't even worth quoting... perhaps I'll give them a bell for this.

Get an S2000 in winter if you do get one

Always try an buy over winter for anything :) Best time to buy simply because people don't want to spend haha.

Picked up my 1098S on boxing day! Bought it a week before hand! The garage I bought it from stated they have next to no business at all over the winter...

Good for me, prices are lowwwww haha.

You lot are getting mental quotes for S2000s aren't you.. I got quoted at about £1050 and considered that to be bloody expensive as that's not far off twice the price that I just renewed the ST220's insurance for!

I'd still have one though

Looks like my insurance is also £lol on S2ks from most places, but the Admiral group are less than half everyone else with Bell coming in at <£950, @23yo 3yrs no claims.

Those getting 1500 quotes are lucky.

Went onto Bell and Elephant (yes I know same co.) and neither will insure me. Went over to confused and the lowest I could get for the S2K was 1.7k lol.

Makes no sense. I have a clean record!
