Just having a nightmare bleeding my system at the moment.. Once its done its game on! :-D

Heads up all,

New bios released today for the formula

MAXIMUS V FORMULA BIOS 0804

2.Improve system stability.

Who's going first then !!!

Not me as I am happy with the last bios on my Formula all works well and it clocks very very well so no point in changing the bios at this time.

@muppet great looking build that very clean.

Switch to the secondary Bios chip. Then copy across or test both at once and see which you prefer.

Go into Msconfig and disable this so it does not appear on start up.

Has anyone managed to watercool the motherboard with there 1/2 ID tubing just wondering if its possible with the mobo barbs being 3/8 and as far as i know un changable so unless you can fit some sort of reducer or remove them to fit 1/4 thread 1/2od barbs its not going to be possible for me its a shame they didnt just tap in g1/4 threads and let you supply your own diameter barbs they already went above and beyond all other z77 boards imo a little more and it would have been the perfect water or air board out the box.

It is automatically disabled when you insert a PCI ex graphics card. If yours is still showing in device manager reset bios and try again.

No problem. I have seen this before after pushing the system over the edge!!! A clear CMOS always works.

not many making use of the built in water cooling then or just not posting about it yet would be good to see how people have set there's up with it in this thread

Kinda annoyed me that they did the wc block on the formula and not the extreme :-( would have loved to have used the wc on the board! Might have to get aftermarket blocks for the board now

Sorry no pics for you - have no camera at the mo, but I am using the waterblock, and so far it seems to work reasonably well. I will update you soon on this as my replacement AX850 from Corsair has only just come back.

Watch this space. Lol
