Anyone feeling a bit down now the Olympics is over?

Don't worry, it is almost the US election, after that.

SOME MORE WARS.

YAY! :D

Why even bother having a happy attitude, realistically, things are crap and ignoring that, you just make worse.

Still trying to find a shop that is stocking the 2012 Presentation Jacket. Someone had one in the pub the other day, they look the bomb!

Cheapest I can seem to find is about £75 on ebay :/ they were about £20 at one point

£75 for a shell suit jacket seems a little steep.

hell no. how could anyone miss it  do the same people get upset on a Saturday evening when a football match finishes, or sunday after the grand prix. or maybe when their favourite tv series comes to an end.
it will be on again in 4 years, not like its a 1 off.

Do your other examples have over 2 weeks of consistent coverage that dominate TV listings and the media? No?

no, but the world cup and euros go on for a while. but I have a job, so I don't sit in front of the tv watching dull stuff all day. and in the evenings I have a remote that lets me change the channel to other stuff to give me a varied viewing experience so im not stuck watching the same thing over and over. and from memeory, by dominating you mean it was on BBC and in papers? but hey ho.

I'm impressed if you managed to escape Olympics coverage.

Anyway, yes I will miss it. It was a great couple of weeks of interesting and varied sports and really brought lots of people together :)

I think I saw a bit of that horse dancing thing on Thurs? but that was the only thing I saw to do with the Olympics other than the odd thread on here. didn't interest me, and with only 1 channel (no one really watches bbc three) showing it it wasn't really hard to escape it

I was a bit bored of it.

I think it's great that we had it and the organisers did an amazing job, and it's a very positive thing for this country.

But aside from a few events I'm not all that excited by sport, and to be honest I've always found watching most sports on TV a little bit boring. Apart from events I watched with my friends, I watched very little of it off my own back.

So I won't miss it. It was good though.

Only one channel showing it!? Try 27 (at least) channels (that was just BBC) showing it!

Also, no one really watches BBC Three!? Check the viewing figures.
