Hey,

Basically some scally scum from about 2 avenues away has had a cat which they never looked after and so the 3 cats have decided to go it alone. We have seen it about now and again.... but fast forward a few months and its now turned into a colony (great! :() I discovered about 3 dead kittens around the back of the shed and then cause no end of issues...

My neighbour got bitten trying to let one out of the goal net as it was stuck... it attacked my friends cat which is the nicest cat ever! They are breeding like wild fire as well, I have found numerous of dead birds and frogs, well about anything and everything they can kill.

The dont bother me as much but the old lady next door is where I'm finding the dead wildlife, I get a phone call to say that something is smelling and I go around to clean it up... My rotty sees them as sport (she is far too slow to catch them) but it keeps them away (mostly) from our garden...

I have called the RSPCA and they will not do anything with healthy strays, I dont know what to do about them, but all I know is that it cant go on.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Stelly

Just let them be, they have as much equal rights as you do and they don't complain about things they don't like about you.

If worst comes to worst put poison down or just set a basic trap to trap the Animal, black bin bag...bottom of a lake..job done

S'pose the only thing to do then is start feeding it until it trusts you then pop it in a cage & take it down the vets to be spade (sp?)
Hopefully it will get friendly & with a full belly should stop taking birds etc & will obviously stop knocking out kittens.

They are just living there lives as a family and I don't see them causing much trouble in your life at all.

You don't see people who are annoyed at you calling the police to split your family up do you?

My ex had a family of strays move into her back garden some years ago... She got a humane cage trap from somewhere and caught them before taking them to the local cat sanctuary.

Of all the things to complain and moan about, a family of Kittens in my garden probably wouldn't be one of them.

I personally would feed them.

I have nothing against cats at all... but when they kill and leave birds for no other reason then playing that annoys me a bit, and I dont want cats in my garden... no one wants to answer their bloody phone either!!!

The one thing that annoys me about cats or should I say owning a cat is that they can **** anywhere they like & nobody has to clean it up.
I have picked every single one of Franks business up & would get fined up to a £1000 if I didn't but cat owners can let there cats **** all over my perfect lawn without nobody doing owt. RAGE !!! + :p
