Mists of Pandaria Cinematic revealed

Its funny how so many people complain about the Pandaren but don't raise an eyebrow to the Tauren that have been part of the lore for only slightly longer.

Why would anyone care about Taurens? They have an established place in WoW and are really rather normal as fantasy races go. They also fit fairly well.

Pandaren Lore up till now has been essentially non-existent.

The reason people are complaining about Pandaren is because they find them ridiculous and completely out of place. Yes they have existed for a while but in such a small way most people thought it was just a funny little quirk they might encounter every now and then.

this is confusing, i thought this exp was to try and get horde v alliance back, yet the intro video shows them working together in the end?

yeah thats what i thought too, strange.

just because the pandarian have been in the game's lore for a while, doesnt mean the timing of this expansions theme is not in with stuff like kung fu panda. they must have started thinking about this when the film was a success.

thats my theory anyway and im glad some of you like the look of it but my opinion is that its simply not for me. i would rather play club penguin (jk!) :D

Love the trailer but not sold on the pandas, Also wow has lost the shine it once had, I just don't enjoy playing any more, They keep giving me free weeks and I pop on for a day or 2 and lose interest almost instantly,

I think this will be the first expansion I don't buy

I was like that, I got a Scroll of res and made my free chracter, I lasted one night and then packed it in.

Then my brother and friend joined up and asked if I wanted to come alone with them and meet a few people from the guild on Comms. So I did and now I have subbed for 2 months now and really enjoying it atm.

I did stay away for about 7 months though, and I have done new characters rather than my usual mains which is quite refreshing.

and this
its like having a barbie character pop up as a playable toon in transformers!

I don't think I'll get this on release as I just don't feel like playing WoW atm. I'll wait and see how it is after release.

That cinematic was great but not as good as all the others. WotLK was the best one.

il raise you one WoW panda and give you one Tera Panda:

I both love and hate the various cinematic movies for WoW.

I love them because they look awesome and are great to watch with a nice cinematic feel.

I hate them because they don't represent the actual game which in reality, lacks any of the cinematic feel and eye candy that's shown in the cut scenes and you find yourself being a bit underwhelmed when you get your hands on the actual game.

Still as others have said I'd happily watch a movie, or animated show that looks like that set in the WoW universe.

Ive heard that the final boss is the leader in Ogg atm - cant remember his name for the life of me :( hes the guy who took thralls throne.

Hmm that sounds pretty uninspiring?

Horde and Alliance both want to kill the Horde leader? ;/

Also sounds pretty boring for the Horde to have their last boss kill in the place where they have hung out for like years anyway!

I dont know if its going to be in Org like. It was mentioned a couple of days ago. I got told that they both want him dead.

But that could also mean that they team up once again and take him down.

Oh btw dont quote me on this!!

im sure the Dragon Soul equivalent (last raid of the expansion) will be the siege on orgrimmar and the downfall of Garosh, probably with Thrall at the front leading the armies of the horde and alliance etc etc etc.

I want to hate wow, i just can't. any other MMO i play, just feels shallow, clunky and frankly unpollished.

I tried the GW2 beta weekends (buying the game in the process to get beta access) and was left underwhelemed, and uninspired with the feel and play og the game. I am looking forward to patch 5.0 on Aug 28th, not the launch of gw2.

I thought that they where trying to get away from the horde and ally teaming up with eachother. I would like to think that they would make raids that are specific to the faction. But I dont think that will happen.

I am looking forward to both the patch release and also Gw2 I have been the same and tried to get away from WoW but I still keep returning.

GW2 has a bonus that its free to play so I can pick it up any time.

Nice cinematic.

Unfortunately I don't get any WOW feeling from it at all. The whole concept looks silly and well just a bit desperate.
