i finally sold an item last night for a decent amount, was 700k gold and it sold within hlf hour so i probably set it too low but i decided to upgrade my staff of herding with it haha :D
 
Diablo worth the purchase? i mean im waiting for GW2, and got nothing to play. Theres no sub to this is their? Noob alert.

If you are a fan of the genre, it's definitely worth the purchase. It can be a little stale end-game at the moment but leveling is good fun and no there is no subscription.

My first run through was good fun. Although I no longer play as frankly you can only take so much of the endless grind end game, I enjoyed the game and definitely felt I got my monies worth!
 
Spent 770 hours in the game, and got 0 Jeweler designs... then in 2 days I get 3 of them, 50 Dex, 54 Dex, 58 Str. Starting to wonder if they altered the drop rates.

Really dislike how when you bid on an item, you can't change to a bigger bid unless you actually have the full amount left over :/

I've just accidentally bid minimum on an item when I wanted to go a chunk higher and there is nothing I can do until I get inevitably out bid :(
I want this new weapon!!!
 
anyone here tried crafting 5-stat armor (exalted fine will do since exalted grand recipe costs millions :D )?
-is it worth it? or ah hunting is much better?

Well on the plus side if you don't get outbit then you get that shiny new weapon for cheaper, which can't be a bad thing. ;)

I've tried this with a chest piece, can't remember what the recipe cost now but it's like 55k a time to craft plus 25 essences (1000 each on AH if you haven't salvaged I think) so approx 80k a time. Problem is that I don't have piles of cash so crafting a few which throw up garbage roles like +3 gf range gets expensive fast and I think, I could have just bought one off the AH for that!

Basically it comes down to luck. If you crafted 15 of them and spent 1m doing it, what are your chances that you get a good one or two in there that are worth more than 1m to cover your costs? I'm not brave enough to find out with my limited resources!
 
You're better off buying Unid'd 63's from a reputable source if you can get them around 100k than you are crafting 62's; a) because dropped items can roll 7 affixes, and b) they can roll higher values due to being a 63.

I'm suspended before I've even finished installing the game on a brand new battlenet account and a brand new copy of D3.

Haven't played a Blizzard game since D2 many many years ago. Not at all impressed... especially for the price of D3.
 
Been playing some act 3 coop last few nights and had some good team mates. Still can't get passed level 3 of the lower level depths. But i got some new near gear that has upped my stats, but still die fairly easily. Game is damn impossible :D

You could probably get 15mil + for that, maybe more cant' say for sure. Might want to start at something ridiculous and then just bring it down until it sells. Actually not that much because there is no vit or dex on it. probably 3 mil at most.



any word on when 1.04 is coming out ?

I've been having issues all morning. Suspicious activity, account is locked. I've gone through the reset process 3 times today. Was locked within minutes of sorting out a reset. I've resorted to adding an authenticor to my account using my iPhone. Been problem free since setting it up.

Just thought it was me, but hope this isn't the start of something bigger!
