The *Official* Eve Online Thread

I personally would go raven (or a CNR when you have more cash).

It's a different style than the drake, i.e. active tanking but it's excellent for lvl 4s. There are obviously better ships (Tengu has been mentioned) but they are either more expensive/more skill intensive or both.

Or if you particularly enjoy the drake style of play the nighthawk is a good step-up in that it is heavy missiles/passive tanking.

28mil ISK, im in a Drake and i think im in a default Corp. Anyone got one i can join to relearn the game?

edit: also got a cormorant that it appears i was using for salvage.

Reading through my emails there I seen another 90 day for £20 offer they sent me. Will have a careful think this evening if I want to go down this life sucking road again but I'm so sorely tempted.
 
I know that EVE not too long ago introduced the ability to walk about a hanger as your 3rd person self, but will it ever feature a 'Citadel' esque environment like in the Mass Effect series? The ability to walk around a station like in Mass Effect but in the MMO setting of EVE would be absolutely insane.

I thought it would already be done, I watched youtube vids. of walking in stations years ago. Before the first youtube design change, that is how long ago.
 
Guess I won't be playing for a while then. I want to walk around in a shop or on a station and interact with people! Might as well be a single player game!
