well after taking last week off i finally got back in the gym today ! not too bad i guess. role on wed and some deadlifting :D

Elliptical Trainer:
0:20:00 || Moderate (+151 pts)
Barbell Bench Press:
80 kg x 8 reps (+99 pts)
80 kg x 8 reps (+99 pts)
80 kg x 8 reps (+99 pts)
80 kg x 8 reps (+99 pts)
Barbell Squat:
80 kg x 8 reps (+99 pts)
80 kg x 8 reps (+99 pts)
80 kg x 8 reps (+99 pts)
80 kg x 8 reps (+99 pts)
 
Only 2 exercises?

im also 319lbs and my squats are weak. im aiming to get back to what i used to do soon where id do bench, squats and deads 4 sets of 8.

still recovering from having a few months off and a wonky right knee. and being unfit. bench i could go heavier but for now im trying to hit a level and then work out where to go from there.
 
Mixed feelings on my week 3 bench press + set tonight.

127.5kg x 7

Was about 1" from locking out the 8th rep, dunno why but it annoyed me being so close to being a complete rep.
 
I think I'm going to crank it up to 4 sessions a week when I come back from Ireland. I've fallen in love with the gym again! :cool: I went 5 times in the last 8 days and feel amazing.
 

Ronnie just blows my mind everytime, 3:47 onwards is just ridiculous

No denying the work he's put in - it's phenomenal. However, I can't say he looks good. Sure he looks lean and so on, but to me he's just not aesthetically pleasing at all and really to me looks like a freak. However, when you've done more drugs than a heroine addict at a crack party, it's not surprising, his body has mutated.

Again, he's worked his arse off, and no one can take that away from him - and he's lifting some big ass weights - however, I'm very "meh" about him and modern day bodybuilders. :(

If you didn't hit the catch on the way back up on rep 6, I think you'd have done it, surprised you carried on really :p

What was it?

Oh nothing amazing, but it's better than my last attempt which was almost a year ago probably and prior to back issues, so I'm happy. It was also after my working set

77.5KG. Was quite amusing, as the 75KG was a bit of a faff and almost didn't go, the 77.5 went up a lot easier. Think I didn't setup properly on the 75.

I've also found out I need to either chalk my shoulders or wear a t-shirt on legs day, shoulders get way too slippy and the bar started to drop :o
