ACOG / 3.4 Meh............

Holo scope for sniping...I wana see the white of their eyes as I blow their brains out...as in I get close to them..is...is the main point of what I'm trying to say...and stuff
 
anyone playing this now? i cant login to origin at all today:confused:

edit..forget it..the dumbasss sytem wasnt recognising my password since the update for some weirdo reason

I only ever use RDS on snipers, more than enough for 90% of engagement's on the current tiny maps. Occasionally bring out the 8 or 12x when I am counter-sniping wookies on Firestorm/Kharg but that's about it.

Even at medium/long range engagement RDS is enough, it can be lacking when people are heavily behind cover but most of the time it's win.

Haha iv'e managed that a fair few times before when they're coming straight at you for a bombing run or whatever.
I think it's safe to say he was...


 
Ive only managed to shoot a chopper pilot once, iirc it was Bubo on cq247, though i was using an M98B sniper rifle.
 
managed to get revived but had the deploy screen overlayed and couldn't move or anything. Server did let !suicide work so had to quit :( I was 24-2 also :(

Waiting to join back in now, 9th in the queue...
 
What is this cloud storage thingy? Does it sync saved games online instead of on your PC (i.e. singleplayer only)? I've disabled it for now.

Also, is there a setting so that the game forgets your fire mode choice before u die? I've been caught out too many times on single shot with an assault rifle after respawning!!

Very unlikely to have been me, I have spent all of about 5 minutes in choppers since I got this game, and all of about 5 seconds in jets :) Only got about 2 hours in tanks for that matter.
 
Only time I ever took out a chopper pilot is when an attack heli crept up behind me on Kharg. I suddenly heard WHOP WHOP WHOP WHOP as I was running to the Construction Site. Thought, 'That sounds a tad close', looked behind me HOLY GOD HELICOPTER IN MY FACE. Panic hipfire of my assault-spec SKS, knowing that it wasn't going to do anything, until I realised I just got a kill, and the heli was now floating serenely to the ground, empty.

One nervous laugh later, I carried on to capture D.

The pilot was obviously doing a hash job of flying, and I hadn't even entered into the equation at all, he was just trying to get it from hitting the ground.

You don't need a sniper rifle to take out a helo pilot though, I've done it with a bog standard assault rifle, I reckon any weapon would do.
 
Removing video';s of an 18 rated game for swearing, pretty lame surely if were going for family friendly then any video's of an 18 rated game should be banned.
