Would clubs be interested in Messi? I'm going to say yes.

Do they receive many, if any, enquire about his availability? (I know some little French village team did, as a joke, which led to their president being suspended... but aside from that, lol). I'm going to say no.

;)

Man City made a bid before they signed Robinho. :D

(I'll gloss over the fact that they didn't actually mean to make a bid for him)

Stoke: If Huddlestone can get fit and stay fit I think he'll be a great signing for us but I just worry that it will be another Palacios all over again. I'd like to see us bring in Popov or a similar left back as we're reported to be close to doing! If we get a left back in and Mr Pulis learns to play Jones (if he stays) and Jerome away from home or at least a more mobile striker than Crouch we'd have a good chance of finishing top 10. Also looking forward to seeing our American signing, Cameron, playing been hearing some very good things!

United: I think after the Van Persie signing they are 1 signing off having a league winning team and that is Fellaini in my opinion! As someone said a few pages back United need a beast in the centre of the pitch.

Liverpool: Suarez is a great player but jesus he can't hit a donkeys **** with a banjo. I still think Carroll would come good for Liverpool if he was given game time and hand him the chances Suarez had against West Brom and he'd have put 1 or 2 of them away. In a way I hope Liverpool fail this season mainly because I can't stand that smug arrogant Rodgers and the sooner he gets booted the better!

Dembele is preferred by a lot of fans imo, I certainly would prefer him to Fellaini

I don't need to prove it though do I, with the information we have available it's absolutely possible for me to view things one way, and you another. I don't really need to prove anything to you to hold my opinion

Lets just say the way I took your initial post wasn't that you were giving an opinion more stating a fact - no known/public interest in Nani = he's not as good as we think or wanted by the bigger clubs

OK so that explains your initial response, sarky as it was ;).

What about every subsequent post after I couldn't have made it much clearer what I meant?

I'll stop squabbling if you will <3 :p.

Paul Pogba has spoken to L'Equipe about his summer switch from United to Juventus. The Frenchman opted to head to Serie A and responded to Sir Alex's frustration that he did not want to stay at Old Trafford. "There were things we did not agree on," said Pogba. "I do not regret anything. I learned a lot there but you must understand my decision. The coach trusted me but said I was too young. He said: 'Your time will come' but it was not coming. Despite his 25-year career, despite the fact he is the boss, my goal was to play. I do not know why he [Sir Alex] said that. A 19-year-old youngster says 'no' to Ferguson - maybe has a little trouble [with that]. But it will not change anything for me, I will not speak ill of Manchester. I love this club. The players and staff there know that I have not disrespected them."

Very mature from him, and I don't blame if he wanted to get more First Team action. He's very much entitled to pursue his goals. Shame it just wasn't aligned with Utd.

:( I was looking forward to seeing Vdv this year! (couldn't believe spurs signed him a few years ago).

Avb seems to be taking them in the wrong direction a bit...

Spurs have gone from being arguably the third best side in the league to now being about the 6th (Newcastle, Everton & Chelsea all moving ahead of them)

Has he been starting for Juventus then?

I don't think Serie A has kicked off yet has it? Anyway I didn't say starting, I said a chance (I.E. squad member) We only started giving him a few sub appearences when it became clear that he was seriously looking elsewhere. And that's considering how depleted our midfield was at some point last year.

Somehow i wouldnt start writing the Everton challenge for CL/Uefa places yet. NUFC have another good chance of euro football but it will probably turn out as a city/manu/chelsea/arsenal/spurs mix.
