Netflix is now in the UK

I tend to find myself using the US one most of the time these days, but the UK selection is slowly getting better and there are some decent things on there that the US one doesn't have (Shutter Island, for example).

How anyone can get bored of the US selection is beyond me, everytime I browse on there I find a bunch of things I want to watch at some point. My main gripe is that there's no "add to watch list" option so you can keep track of these things.
 
Totally agreed, a watch list is needed! Right now, there's too many to watch.

Netflix UK don't have breaking bad Season 4, the US does, so I get that now. The US don't have Dexter though, the UK does but not up to date. Still, better movies selection!
 
Sorry for the thread revival. Does us access still work? Thought I'd give the trail a go but the uk content it pathetic!

I've changed dns entries on my Xbox but I either get connection errors or sits trying to connect for ages!.

I have an add to watch list on mine via the ps3, this may be because I changed my account to a us rather than a uk one.
 
I've been using netflix on the Wii, loaded it up on the 360 and tried to use it but need a live subscription :mad: Gonna try the PS3 tonight. Anyone know if/how you change to US netflix on the Wii/PS3?
 
Does unblock us "just work" after it Has been setup so I can still access us Netflix and hulu without being detrimental to my internet speed or security?

Currently to access hulu or the us Netflix I have to connect to my private us VPN, watch what I want and then disconnect again so I can view UK content properly and browse the web
 
Anyone been having problems accessing Netflix US today/yesterday? Saw a load of posts on another board yesterday about people having trouble but mine (through the Xbox) was fine. Tried it again today and it won't work, keeps saying "Netflix is not available in your region".
 
I'm not too sure on how unblock us works...

What exactly am I paying for? As they just list the dns codes for PS3 on their site so technically I dont even need a login if I just use them, or am I missing something?

Also, is it best to turn it on on the desktop, then off when not using, or can I just leave it in the background?

they log the ip connecting so if you have a dynamic ip that changes weekly you can just use the dns codes on your ps3, otherwise after a week the free trial will end and you'll have to pay.
 
Yesssssssss the walking dead season two on US site. That's today sorted.

Even without paying for VPN, the uk one is still well worth it as its so cheap. Watch so much on there.
